DISCOVER OMOROVICZA
Discovered over 2,000 years ago, when the healing properties of Hungary’s thermal waters were first founded, Omorovicza pays homage to the benefits that the mineral-rich solution has on your hair, body and skin. However, going above and beyond to utilise the bath’s nutrients, descendant Stephen de Heinrich de Omorovicza and wife Margaret enlisted the help of a Nobel prize-winning laboratory to improve the solutions, so they can travel deeper into our dermis. The result? A beauty collection that empowers genuine healing.
THE STORY OF OMOROVICZA
Stephen de Heinrich de Omorovicza was living in Budapest when he first met his wife, Margaret. Visiting the baths Stephen family built in Budapest, the couple observed the healing powers that these waters had on their skin and decided to embark on a quest to harness its curative power. Why Budapest you ask? Well, the Hungarian capital has more thermal water sources than any other city in the world. In 1934 it was officially named the "International Spa City". With that in mind, in the 1800’s the Omorovicza family built a thermal bath, the Racz Furdo, on the medieval healing spring of the Ottoman bath – which is renowned for its curative properties.
OMOROVICZA’S PROVES SCIENCE MATTERS
Meeting with the head of a Hungarian Laboratory of dermatology – which is famous for its Nobel prize-winning discovery of Vitamin C – the Omorovicza family discovered the skin benefit of thermal waters on bathers due to the minerals its sticking properties. However, from this visit they also uncovered that these minerals do not absorb into epidermis. So, the brand enlisted the help of the lab to incorporate the properties of the healing waters into a skin care range that travels further than your skin’s surface. The result? The patented Healing Concentrate, an innovative complex that delivers therapeutic minerals to the deepest layers of the skin to provide long-lasting results.
