BEAUTY RESOLUTIONS: WASH MY FACE
I make this resolution every year - and it all goes out the window by the first Friday of January, when I totter home tipsy and dab (ineffectually) at my face with a wet wipe. But this year, things are GOING TO BE DIFFERENT. My visage will be consistently clean as a shiny new pin - which means double cleansing, muslin cloths, LUNA-ing consistently and possibly, even toning (I know)...
Cleansers are my thing (which is ironic, given I'm so bad at using them)... here is my edited 'edit' of absolute faves.
Because make up removal is often a problem, Bio-Essence's brand new {Jelly Make Up Remover} is THE ONE. As in, if the law changed, and I was suddenly at liberty to wed an inanimate object, I would choose it. Over and above my much-loved collection of Mitfordian literature (which is lucky 'cause I'm pretty sure polygamy would still be frowned upon). Make up (even the waterproof shiz), managed!
I think I might have mentioned this (c. 1,000,000 times - sorry), but Oskia's {Renaissance Cleansing Gel} is da bomb dot com. Refreshing and plumping and magically glow-bestowing, you can read all about why I love it right {here} - should you choose to.
My current morning 'double cleanse' (pats-self-on-back) is all about {Grown Alchemist}. I'm probably getting it all wrong, but my face enjoys a massage with the gorgeous {Hydra-Restore Cream Cleanser}, followed by a quick once-over with their {Gentle Gel Cleanser} and my most favourite face vibrator (ie: my only ever, faithful face vibrator, Foreo's {LUNA}).
If you've never experienced a cleansing balm, then you - dear readers - are in for a treat. Omorovicza's {Thermal Cleansing Balm} is rich, oily and oozy in the most delectable, pore-purifying way. It's the perfect way to take the day off and/or startle your housemates (snicker snicker).
Coffee meets cleanser. Er... YES! Su-Man's {Exfoliating Facial Polish} is the ultimate wake up call - for both skin and senses. A physical scrub (yay!), the grounds work all manner of magic; refining, brightening, stimulating and counteracting puffy (hungover) pillow face, so you look and feel wide awake in a whizz.
Have you made any beauty resolutions? If so, we'd love to know (and possibly steal your ideas...). Please share in the comments below.
