Founded by board-certified Dermatologist and Chief Medical Officer, Dr Courtney Rubin, and Executive Chairman Kimmy Scotti Metzger, Fig.1 Beauty is a female-funded, female-founded and female-led brand. “Our core value has always been to deliver science-backed skin care that really works and features the active ingredients that dermatologists and consumers love – at clinically meaningful concentrations but priced for everyday use. “We chose the name Fig.1 because it comes from the annotations in science textbooks that provide simple visuals to explain complex topics. Similarly, our goal is to bring the most complicated parts of skin care (AKA the science) to you in its simplest form.”
