Designed to work alone or in tandem with the brand’s {UncompliKated SPF 50}, the Daily Deflector Mineral SunScreen SPF 30 PA++++ provides UV protection with a 100% zinc oxide formula.
Packed with ceramides to keep skin looking strong, smooth, supple and hydrated while protecting against moisture loss, this über-lightweight and restorative mineral sunscreen also boasts antioxidants and vitamin E – ensuring your complexion is kept safe from the sun and other environmental aggressors. As much as we love the sun (and the ice creams, shorts and holidays that come with it), it can cause premature damage to the skin – think: fine lines and hyperpigmentation. This SPF restores your skin barrier and protects against UVA and UVB rays (as well as blue light from mobiles, laptops and the like!), using non-nano zinc particles to absorb and deflect the UV rays, which is believed to be the safest option for marine life and coral reefs. Ectoin offers natural protection from pollution, roughness and scaliness, tasmannia lanceolata leaf extract calms and reduces redness, and the formula overall is fragrance-free, suitable for the sensitive skinned and stays water resistant for 80 minutes!

Excellent, aside from white cast
This leaves a white cast which is its one downside. Aside from that it is great, applies perfectly under make-up and is not greasy in the slightly. My skin feels so smooth after application. For reference I have fair (but not super pale) combination skin prone to comedones.

Lightweight and fluid
This is such an elegant mineral sunscreen with a beautiful fluid consistency, which is very rare. It melts easily into the skin and leaves no white cast (at least in my fair skin). I use it all over my face but mostly around my eyes. I will often use a chemical sunscreen on my face but never around my eyes because I have very sensitive eyes and many chemical sunscreens sting. But not this one. It feels hydrating on the skin. This is one of my favourite mineral sunscreens.

Good sunscreen with flaws
The overall sunscreen is great. It doesn't break me out and wears really well under makeup. The only flaw for me is the white cast. I know it's a mineral sunscreen but you end up looking a bit like a pantomime. I use it with some bronze drops and make sure I blend it really well. I think that limits the use to only fairly light skinned people.

Best mineral sunscreen so far
No white cast, not oily, not drying, makes skin looks radiant and fair naturally, light scent is delightful, the texture is soft and moist, very easy to apply, the pump package - perfect and elegant, easy to use, …there’s not a single thing about this sunscreen that I don’t love!!!Â

Best sunscreen
Firstly this is wonderful mineral sunscreen! I am confused by other reviews stating it’s leaves a white cast ; it’s a MINERAL SUNSCREEN so that’s bound to happen! It’s a lovely texture and melts into the face. Yes there’s a small white cast when you first apply it but it disappears. Definitely my favourite! I also use the Kate Somerville Delikate Recovery Cream, Delikate Cleanser and Delikate Serum religiously! These products have helped my skin so much!

Very reliable protection
Despite many reviews I've seen complaining about the white cast it leaves, I would say that it is a very high quality reliable sunscreen. The white residue absorbs in few min. I have tested the cream every weekend since I bought it, exposing myself on the sun on temperature above 35 degrees centigrade. I dont reapply after swimming. Got nice evenly tan, no red, no sunburn. I have not tested in combination with makeup products. Who needs a makeup on the beach?!

Nice spf that feels light on the skin
I liked the product, it does have white cast initially but it also absorbs and skin feels protected and comforted. Did not break out my oily/sensitive skin type.

One of the best mineral SPF
First, I cannot wear chemical SPF. So I tried for more then a decade mineral SPF. I have combo skin and this spf is perfect for winter. It's not greasy, hydrates the skin and it's not drying. I love this one. It's a pity that it's only SPF 30. If this formula would come in SPF50, I would buy it in a second. Really really good.
