Milk Makeups Blur Liquid Matte Foundation is a game-changer when it comes to blurring pores and fine lines. Unlike its rivals which often rely on skin-smothering silicones, this formulation is silicone-free to smooth, blur and refine without triggering breakouts. Laced with innovative, powder-filled blurring microspheres which scatter light to leave skin looking enviably even, this base has a featherweight, serum-like texture which makes its camouflaging capabilities even more remarkable... Delivering the coverage of heavier foundations, this blurs and unifies without appearing vaguely cakey, while the matte finish cuts shine and keeps excess oil under control. Hyaluronic acid plumps and keeps cells' feeling quenched while even the tube is a feat of ingenuity - it's fitted with a special (magical?) mechanism which guarantees you only dispense product when you squeeze the bottle so none of your precious foundation is wasted. In line with all Milk Makeup products, the Blur Liquid Matte Foundation is 100% vegan and cruelty-free, not to mention free from parabens and, just when you thought it couldnt get any better, the base boasts an impressive shade range, from Light to Espresso, via Golden Sand and Cinnamon.

Not for oily skin with dry patches
I have oily skin but with some dry patches around my nose and forehead. The foundation was clinging terribly to my dry flakes. Would recommend only for very oily skin

Don’t do it!
I so desperately wanted to love this product but sorry to say, it’s awful. It separates as other reviewers mention, it smears after a few hours wear and looks awful, and worst of all, I can see and feel if clogging up my pores. I normally have very clean, clear skin, using this foundation caused acne breakouts all over my chin and cheeks. No better than a £2 foundation from Boots, SWERVE.

Not good for 30+/dry skin
Was really looking forward to trying this with the Milk Hydro Grip primer - the shade was a good match for me, and it's cruelty-free. BUT, it settles into my fine lines and pores within a few hours and starts to get patchy. My dry patches start to kick up a lot quicker than they do with other foundations. It works best for me when mixed 50/50 with a dewy foundation and with another brand's hydrating primer underneath (the result isn't perfect, but Milk is too pricey to just throw away - I need to use it up). I get the feeling this product and the primer would work with younger skin that doesn't get dry. AKA: not me, unfortunately...

Blur foundation
This foundation is not good. It separates in the tube and even when you shake it, it doesn’t mix. It sits in creases and looks greasy; had to wash it off. Not good at all and not cheap to not be able to use again!

Great but be careful of shades!
I’ve tried so many foundations and I love this one. Definitely in my top 3. So lightweight but great coverage and melts into the skin nicely and lasts all day. Only issue is I had to exchange it because the shade did not match the picture at all. It was the one I ordered but what you see in the preview vs what you get is so, so, so drastically different. Go lighter than you think you’ll need because they seem to be more orange and darker than what’s shown on site!

Surprised me
I didn't expect to like this foundation. I ordered it because I was excited to buy Milk Makeup in the UK. It was such a lucky stroke however because I cannot believe how good it is! A tiny bit goes a very long way and the coverage is amazing without looking cakey or slapped on. It is definitely not matte, however, but has a natural looking glowiness.

Great foundation
I was slightly nervous to purchase this after the mixed reviews on this website. However, I had seen a lot of influencers using Milk Makeup products and raving about how amazing they were. Not to mention the brilliant branding. So I went ahead and purchased the blur liquid foundation in Bisque. First of all, the shade is a fantastic match for me. It is spot on. It’s rare I find a foundation that is the perfect shade. It was really easy to apply also. You do need to shake the product before you use it to mix together all the ingredients. I used a beauty blender to apply it and my make up looked so natural and smooth with a healthy glow. I would say it is medium to full coverage which I like as I do not like foundations that do not look natural. This was brilliant as it just looked like my skin was smooth with a healthy, natural glow. I agree with the other reviews that the foundation is not matte. It is more of a dewy finish but I don’t mind that. I then tested it and wore it for a full day - 14 hours. I did have to blot once during the afternoon, however the make up stayed on throughout the whole day and by the evening I was still glowing. I am really impressed with Milk Makeup products and despite the mixed reviews on this blur foundation, I would definitely recommend it. It is meant to be a more luxury product hence the price. However it delivers. Each skin type is different and so you should definitely give it a try at least! It’s now one of my go-to foundations. I love it.

Disappointed
I have oily, acne-prone skin and fairly large pores so reading the claims of this foundation, I was super excited to try it out. I knew buying online would be a risk, but I went for it anyway. Unfortunately, using it over a few weeks, I found that it was not "featherweight" at all and I felt like I was wearing foundation. It settled into the fine lines around my mouth after a few hours and actually made them more obvious than they usually are. The foundation transferred a lot, and by the end of the day I would always have areas of my face where the foundation had just disappeared (like my chin). Probably the only positive is that you don't have to use a lot to get a high amount of coverage.

Awful!
OK this is just bad! I ordered light medium which is ORANGE, but even if the shade was right it is a weird texture, it moves, it transfers, it just doesn't work on dry skin AT ALL. Maybe if I had oilier skin it might work better. I have nothing positive to say it is awful truly. Horrible stuff and expensive! It Cosmetics CC cream is £31 and one of the best bases money can buy. Do not waste your money on this horror of a product. The only bad milk product I have experienced so far.
