Alfresco Natural Insect Repellent keeps annoying bugs at bay, with the added bonus over other repellents of moisturising and conditioning the skin without adding toxic chemicals. The problem with most bug repellents is that they also repel humans, but the botanical extracts that Alfresco uses to keep the insects away actually smell lovely. This product is so effective that it has been personally requested on location by stars like Kristin Scott Thomas, Penelope Cruz, Robert Redford and Jude Law. Keep the bugs away in a jumbo 200ml bottle or 100ml or 50ml handy tubes.
Alfresco is a natural insect repellent and moisturiser with a sweet, spicy fragrance designed to smell lovely to humans, but repugnant to insects, especially mosquitoes. Most insect repellents use the chemical Deet, which can react badly on the skin; whereas Alfresco uses botanical extracts geranium, lavender and melissa to keep the insects away. This product is recommended by The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine as the most effective to use, especially for babies and children.
Aqua (Water), Isopropyl Palmitate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Stearic Acid, Cetearyl Alcohol, Parfum (Fragrance), Triethanolamine, Phenoxyethanol, Dimethicone, Benzophenone-3, Citric Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, Ceteareth-20, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Cinnamal, Citral, Citronellol, Coumarin, Eugenol, Geraniol, Isoeugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone.

Always shake bottle gently before use to create a synergy of fragrance. If used in conjunction with a suntan product, put Alfresco on first. Apply to face and body every 3 hours for maximum protection or when skin is dehydrated. This product is fine to use on children and babies, always do a little patch test first.

I feel like this works? I still had some mosquito bites but i feel like it was less than it could have been haha and it smells and feels nice on the skin.

It works
I recently bought this lotion before my trip to costa Rica and I want to say it works! I am giving 4 stars because at times I did double up with proper bug spray depending on where we were, but for the dinners out where I forgot, I managed to get through the nights bite free. The only bites I got were when I forgot to put anything on. I'm scent sensitive and the scent didn't bother me. It smells a bit bug lotiony, but it's quite mild and not off-putting. will use again.

I bought this product as we booked our holidays in our warm Mediterranean country Albania by a Lagoon seaside. Very pleased with the result, almost "0" mosquitos' bites! We used it on a 5 month old baby, a toddler of nearly 2 years and on us. Gentle cream, nice smell (maybe a bit strong but nice) and with positive results. You can feel it's natural and classy. Wouldn’t recommend
I like the formula and scent of this product however it didn’t work for me and I was bitten relentlessly while wearing this and had to resort to buying DEET products (which kept the bugs at bay). May be useful if you are somewhere like the UK where insect bites are unlikely but definitely not effective in hotter climates.

Great product great service
Used a small bottle on my legs every night for a fortnight in Greece. I did get bitten but only a couple of times compared to the usual couple of hundred. The fragrance is actually quite pleasant. I will absolutely buy again. Cult Beauty's service was great, free delivery and it arrived two days later.

Dislike the smell
Would have been perfect, however to me, I find the smell too pungent/overwhelming. Shall report back on the effectiveness after summer.
