Perfect
I bought this cleansing bar as I wanted to try using products with less plastic packaging. I have been using it for about a month now and it's amazing. I normally have oily combination skin but I exercise outdoors in winter which dries my skin out. Since I've been using this product my skin has been so soft and balanced. I've had hardly any dry patches, blackheads or spots compared to my old cleanser. It's gentle enough to use twice a day but it still removes makeup effectively.

Amazing product
My skin loves this! It made my skin supple and smooth and I swear it helped with my texture. I don't particularly care for the smell but it's so good I overlook that.

I’m so happy
I have very very sensitive skin. And I‘m allergic. But I have clogged pores on my back. And this soap is the salvation for me. I've never had so pure skin. This soap is also suitable for face, but not very often.

A Fantastic Starter to the Brand
This product is a fabulous way to introduce yourself to this brand! If you're unsure about the other products of Alpha H, this is a good stepping stone staple to add to your routine. My skin is very very oily, blemish prone (mild to moderate now, can be/has been severe) and can be sensitive. So those with oily skin know that we like products that dry out our skin.. This does a great job of stripping all oil, but making your skin feel clean and smooth, as well as having the drying out that my oily skin craves. I have been using this with a couple other products, and I feel that this has contributed to the clearing of my skin! This product is a great value, considering how long it will last. Well done Alpha H! Meet your new converted customer.

My skin is very sensitive and dry. This makes my skin look so good and does not irritate it. It is like great body wash and balm in one. Also, the bar is generous size goes long way.

Smells and looks like soap but it doesn't feel like soap. Feels amazing on skin and gets rid off of ant oil from skin.

5/5 for efficacy, loses a star for the smell!
This is a great little bar, which with 1% glycolic is gentle and fine for frequent use. I use this on my body only, partly because most of my skincare is at a higher price point than this and it didn't make sense to add it in, but also because it is slightly foaming and therefore slightly drying (although there is no SLS so it is gentler than many foaming products). I use this on wet skin but step out from under the running water. I apply direct from the bar and then go back and massage in with my hands- there is a slight lather but your hand doesn't just slide, so it feels as if the product is working into the skin. This is the point where it has lost a star for me because to be honest, it smells like a very cheap soap. The ingredients list parfum, so they could at least have made it smell nice if they're putting it in! I then rinse off. Skin looks and feels much smoother after using this and I usually follow with a moisturiser, which absorbs really well and adds to the glow! Before I used this product I had really dry, itchy skin on my legs and no amount of intensive moisturising seemed to work. I now use this bar every couple of days and follow with a light moisturiser and the problem has cleared up completely!

This is the first time I've tried a product like this in bar form, and I am pleasantly surprised. I was skeptical because it seemed like soap, and I've always thought they're supposed to be too drying, but this isn't, at all! Mostly, I'm impressed with the price. I've been using it now for the last 4 months every day morning and night, and it looks like it still has a lot longer to go! I estimate I'll still be using this same one at least another 6 months down the line. I use oil to remove my makeup first as I didn't want this to sting my eyes (I have never rubbed it into my eyes just in case, so no idea if it would hurt or not), but I'm left with residue on my face after the oil that I cannot take off with water. So I use this afterwards to double cleanse, and take off the oily residue. It smells lovely, lathers easily, and easily removes what you like without the use of a flannel. Just use water! It's easy to use, I've never had such a quick makeup removing routine before, and it's so thorough. However, compared to using other routines of removing my makeup, washing etc, I haven't seen an improvement in my skin texture or pigmentation. It's pretty much stayed the same as it always has. But, this isn't really a drawback. It does the job well, and fast, and I'd definitely highly recommend it! 4* as it's fantastic! Just haven't seen any added visual benefits. 22yrs, Brighton.

Didn't suit my skin type
Wanted to love this product as I am a huge fan of the brand overall but it made my skin too tight after cleansing so I quickly gave up on it. If your skin is oily or you don't experience tightness after cleansing with foaming washes, it might be worth a shot though.
