Technologically advanced, AMELIORATE’s Transforming Body Lotion has a patent-pending formulation which combines alpha-hydroxy therapy with a unique complex of natural ingredients, to enhance skin condition and support its own exfoliation processes. Starring lactic acid – a member of the AHA family – this melts the ‘glue’ that binds dead, follicle-clogging cells to skin’s surface whilst attracting moisture from the air to ‘lock it’ into skin (lactic acid is a natural humectant). Born out of one woman’s frustration, AMELIORATE’s creator Annette was desperate to transform her ‘chicken skin’ arms. Ameliorate Body Lotion
This has been a godsend for my skin. I have DSAP & nothing touches it besides this lotion. Not crazy about the ammonia smell when it combines with other scents... ie body wash. But that dissipates quickly. I've tried other lactic acid lotions but none work like this.

Very good
I don’t even have any KP bumps but I do suffer from ingrown hairs and uneven skin tone. I have been using this body lotion once a day for 3 weeks and my legs feel so soft and smooth, using it as pre-holiday prep. The ingrown hairs have reduced too. Recommended!

It actually works
I tried this in desperation after my post-pregnancy hormones made the chicken skin on my arms painful and itchy. It was a shock to the system after my arms had been clear throughout my whole pregnancy. This stuff took a while to clear my skin, but it was really bad (bleeding at times). Now I use it every couple of days and my skin is completely clear. I have the 50ml bottle in my skin care drawer to make sure I’m reminded to use it. I’ll never be without it now.

This is the solution for ingrown hair
This stuff is the bomb. I bought it because I always get ingrown hairs with any hair removal methods. This works so quickly to calm down the redness, it really is like magic. I wish Cult Beauty stocked the largest tub of this cream, I go through 200 ml pretty quickly, it really is that good. I don't dislike the smell that much either.

Brilliant results!
Love this cream! Changes any area of niggly chicken skin into the stuff of legends. I use it on the backs of my arms and the results are spectacular... super smooth and not a chicken in sight! Also use it on my thighs, bum and face... it's all good. I'm on my 3rd tube and couldn't be without this zingy miracle worker.

I have KP on my arms and am prone to very dry skin on my legs (plus ingrown hairs). This stuff is absolutely incredible. It gets rid of all the bumpy stuff and moisturises really deeply. It's a thin, light fluid that absorbs easily and I was sceptical that it could really be that good a moisturiser, but it honestly leaves your skin like silk. I'm using it in conjunction with the exfoliant and couldn't be happier. The only downside is the smell, which is pretty rank. There is a fragrance-free version though, which I hope Cult will start stocking.

I have "chicken skin" and before I came across this product, I had tried everything that "claimed" to get rid of it. But this is why Cult Beauty exists - to give us products that actually work. My skin is smooth and clear for the first time in my 31 years!!! I love it. I just love this. I'm getting the bigger lotion once this one runs out.

Life changing
I have always been insecure of KP on my arms to the point I always wear long sleeves. I have tried everything including medicated creams from the doctors to get rid of this but nothing budged it. I started using this product religiously twice a day over the past 2 weeks and my arms are almost totally clear, I even wore my first short sleeved top today for the first time in over 6 years! I purchased the exfoliant a few days ago and have only used it once so far but could see the difference instantly so I highly recommend using the two together. Only fault is the bottle is tiny and you get little product (a lot goes a long way) but in my experience, I definitely think it's worth every penny and more.

It really works!
I was a bit sceptical at first but have been feeling self conscious about the slight red bumps on the back of my arms since forever so I thought I’d give it a try. It totally works, especially if you follow the instructions - eg twice a day for the first month and then once a day. My skin is no longer red and feels much smoother. The smell is a bit overpowering and I’ll definitely be ordering a fragrance free one next time!
