I have such a sensitive skin! I have had perioral dermatitis in the past, redness all over and super prone to breakouts. This cream, although rich for my skin type, keeps my skin so clear and beautiful. I have never had a more beautiful skin. I use this exclusively. Alright, let’s talk about my rollercoaster with the Augustinus Bader Rich Cream. I’d heard all the rave reviews and, naturally, had high hopes that this luxurious cream would be my holy grail. But if you have milia like I do, beware—this rich concoction has a way of inviting those pesky little bumps to the party, especially around the delicate under-eye area. And let me tell you, it takes ages to calm them down once they’re here! After that experience, I figured I’d give the lighter version a shot (picked it up from a different retailer just to be safe). But that one comes with its own issues: it just peels right off my skin! Tried it under makeup, over serums, with prayer... you name it—yet somehow it just won't sit right. So while these creams look stunning on the shelf, my face and I are giving them a “thanks, but no thanks.

Perfect simplicity
I’ve been using the Rich Cream for a few years and have noticed the results. I replaced a serum and moisturiser with this one product. My skin is clear, even, soft and I also suspect this is great at preventing wrinkles (I’m early 30’s with no wrinkles at all, so I’m not sure if that’s this product or genetics, but I certainly have far fewer signs of ageing than my peers). I really like how deceptively simple this product feels when it goes on your skin, it melts in perfectly. It’s expensive but worth it for me personally.

Game Changer
I have tried every cream on my skin, I have sun damage, a little rosacea and overall my skin always looks a little dehydrated. My friend recommended this and I finally splashed out. I'm now on my second bottle and this time I got the facial oil too and use that in combination with the rich cream. Overall my skin just looks healthier. I'm currently trying to use up all of the other skin care that I've purchased over the year and I can't see myself ever buying anything other than this cream again. Yes it's super expensive but if I can reduce my skin care routine to 3 or 4 products, I know that it will balance out overall. Also, you don't need a lot of this product, especially if using with the face oil.
