Plant-powered hair care just got a colourful upgrade, the Color Control Shampoo from Aveda’s newest line of effective and sulfate-free formulas offers a next-level neutralising power and gives you the power to fight unwanted fading so you can enjoy your colour for even longer.
It’s about time your colour got the attention it deserved, so we’d like to introduce your strands to the Color Control Shampoo. This carefully created cleanser is teeming with apricot kernel oil and soybean oil to improve the overall condition and structure of your tresses, keeping it as glossy as if you just left the salon. The first step in your at-home colour care system, this effortlessly cleanses build-up and grime from your strands and your scalp while water-activated dual-charged molecules create a completely weightless shield to keep water out of the hair fibre and keep your colour firmly locked in. Lusting for shinier, healthier looking hair? Lust no more — a botanical acid complex provides all the strength and shine your locks need thanks to a bio-fermented acid (arginine), that fortifies your hair and keeps it strong to further lock in your colour inside out. Finally, a lactic acid derived from sugar beets keeps the cuticle sealed and smoothed for a mirror-like shine. Vegan, cruelty-free and 95% naturally-derived, this has to be a hair care no brainer.

Good shampoo
I love Aveda in general. I wash my hair very often and I like to use mild shampoos for this reason. This one looks and feels like milky lotion, and feel quite conditioning. But if your scalp requires deeper cleaning (if it’s oily or you have a lot of product build up) you might need to use clarifying shampoo every now and then, otherwise I feel like it’s just not cleaning scalp enough
