Gentle and effective but probably only as second step
It’s gentle and not too drying (I did feel the need to moisturise right after because I have dry skin, but I guess for all other skin types it will be ok). They say you can apply it on dry skin or wet skin, so I tried both. On dry skin: I wouldn’t recommend it. For a few seconds it’s quite pleasant but soon the foam dies out and you need to add water and more foam to get the feeling you’re washing your face with soap and not just your fingers. On wet skin though: with two full pumps the foam has enough body for quite a luxurious and creamy cleansing and it lasts long enough for a proper cleanse. It feels really gentle and for a “non soap” soap, very foamy. Really nice. I have tried it for makeup/spf as well and it did a quite ok job. But generally I prefer a 2 step cleansing where an oil-based cleanser gets rid of the oil-based products/impurities. So I use this as my second step. I think that’s its place. But it is a really nice product.
