Dispensing beauty wisdom for a decade, BeautyStat’s blog has evolved from an industry-leading authority – debunking beauty myths, predicting trends and writing unbiased reviews – to a stand-alone brand that has harnessed the learnings from years of exposure to all of the beautysphere’s latest and greatest. BeautyStat’s founder – cosmetic chemist Ron Robinson – has first-hand experience of product development (he formerly worked for some very well-known beauty brands) and has finally turned his attention to building a cutting-edge range of his own. Having struck gold when his friend introduced him to a game-changing technology that stabilises vitamin C, Ron new the time had arrived to create his own brand and deliver innovative, high-performance formulas direct to the consumer.
An instant cult classic, BeautyStat Cosmetics’ Universal C Skin Refiner is formulated with 20% pure, stable vitamin C to reveal a more radiant, smooth and even-textured complexion from first use.
With no risk of product degrading or losing its efficacy, this stabilised formula stays at full-strength to deliver the same, skin-transforming results from beginning to end – brightening, firming and lessening lines thanks to the patented, encapsulated delivery system that protects the integrity of its (notoriously unstable) hero ingredient. Working synergistically with EGCG (Epigallocatechin Gallate) – the most important active component of green tea – to bolster the youth-prolonging, free radical-fighting protection, alongside olive-derived squalane to moisturise and tartaric acid (which creates the optimum pH level for skin absorption), this powerful formula stimulates collagen synthesis, soothes inflammation and fades pigmentation to leave your complexion refreshed, resilient and glowing with health. In clinical studies of 32 consumers who applied the product twice a day for four weeks, 90% saw a reduction in fine lines and an improvement in skin texture and firmness, while 100% said their skin tone was more even and their pores less visible.
Cyclopentasiloxane, L-Ascorbic Acid (Pure Vitamin C), Isocetyl Stearate, Squalane, Polysilicone-11, Petrolatum, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Pure EGCG Green Tea), Tartaric Acid

Amazing Product
I was quite scared to try this product because of the silicone being so high up in the ingredient list and how potent the vitamin C is at 20% but OMG this product is MINDBLOWING. This product didn’t break me out or irritate my skin. Vitamin C’s usually make me itch but the creamy texture of this doesn’t affect my skin like that at all. It pills when you use it top of other skincare if they haven’t dried, but if you wait for them to dry then it goes on smoothly. Works so well at fading dark marks too! I’ve noticed visible improvements in the last 3 weeks I’ve been using this.Â

a bit meh and terrible texture
This product left me disappointed; teh texture is terrible, quite grainy and it pills under make up. Results are not amazing either. It is quite intense and it burns a bit when applied so beware sensitive skins.
