Extremely fine mist that doesn't result in having a puddle of water in one part of your face. Doesn't disturb the makeup when applied and can be re-applied. Not sure if it extends the longevity of the makeup but it does help refresh your face after applying powder and makes everything look blended. Doesn't make your face too shiny or oily. Will repurchase.
