Enriched with conditioning provitamin B5, the high-performing formula nourishes lashes and is soft enough to layer with mascara – in fact, 91% of a consumer panel said it remained soft enough to act as a base for mascara six hours after applying. Ideal layered with your favourite lash-enhancing mascara (and particularly perfect paired with Benefit’s They’re Real! This is a wonderful product. It is actually a mascara base coat, but It can absolutely be used on its own! It applies easily and quite looks “natural”. It really does not clump and is flexible enough that you can apply in the morning and again later in the evening, if you are going out. You can even apply another mascara on top later, if you wish. On dark lashes, it doesn’t look brown brown. It applies more like a soft, almost black. I can imagine it applies more brown on more blond/light lashes. If you want a more brown mascara for you dark lashes, I recommend Charlotte Tilbury Push up Mascara in brown/burgendy 😍
