misleading description, but still good mascara
i found the mini of this mascara in 2023's Cult Beauty Advent Calendar and I've been using it for some time now. it claims to be a volumizing mascara and i couldn't disagree more. the formula doesn't like to be built up to create volume as it starts flaking off and the wand is definitely a defining shape/bristles instead of volumizing. the first (and arguably the only coat you have with this mascara) is beautiful, but it's lengthening/natural look. so if you want a wispy natural look (a la glossier mascara), you'll like this. but the description and marketing around it don't align with the performance of the product. which is why i'm only giving it 3 stars.

Pricey but like it
I really love the formula and the brush and the way this mascara makes my lashes look. I’m quite picky with my mascaras and a lot a them don’t do the job for me (especially drugstore ones). I would give this one five stars, but the price is a bit much.

Not worth it
Disappointing. It gives dry-old mascara feeling. No big/voluminous lashes for me at all. Frankly speaking before just reading their description I thought they were going for a "natural look". But even so, it can be achieved so much cheaper and better with other products. Wouldn't buy it for sure.

Obsession
It is my new obsession! This one is did it job . Thanks to this, I can no longer wear eyeshadow . Extreme luxury. So velvety, so elegant. I have light short lashes, and it is difficult to find a mascara which can give me a satisfaction. But this one is great. Want to try other products, I believe, if this one so perfect, other should be also good.

So expensive for a dud
Didn’t give me volume nor hold. It was below average. Drugstore mascaras deliver better. Very disappointed.

Great! But…
In the beginning I didn’t like it. After some time the mascara dried a little and it gave perfect volume with separation to my lashes. I do not think that I will be able to use it till the end. It is drying inside of bottle very quickly.

Byredo astronomical mascara
Absolutely awful, opened mascara and it was very dry and cake like. Went on ok but goes even drier as the day goes on, virtually disappears  from the ends of lashes after a few hours. Never spent so much for a mascara and been so disappointed 👎👎👎

Disappointing
So sad as I was really looking forward to trying and using this mascara when I saw it advertised. It’s thick and clumping and resembles using an old out of date mascara. Sadly, the packaging is the only gorgeous part of this product.Â
