As with all CeraVe superheroes, at the core of this cleanser is a cocktail of three essential ceramides (lipids that are essentially the ‘glue’ of your skin barrier). I m currently going through my 3rd bottle of this cleanser and I would totally recommend it for anyone with oily skin and texture. It cleans well (used after a cleasing balm) and removes any leftovers from mascara or eyeliner. I really enjoy using it and do not feel the need to try other cleansers.

I bought this cleanser for my boyfriend who has combo skin with a few pimples and blackheads here and there and I think it works great for him. I have tried the cleanser myself a couple of times but my skin feels a bit drier after using it and I prefer to feel a bit more hydrated after using a cleanser. In addition, I noticed a bit more acne coming up so I switched to a different cleanser that I have but this one works like a charm for my bf.

I have very sensitive and dry skin plus rosacea. Even this product is aimed for dry skin, didn’t work for me. If used it daily, it dried out my skin completely. Maybe ok to use one time per week.
