Good product
This is a good product. It leaves your skin feeling very hydrated and dewy while giving you a sheer coverage (it is buildable though). It is pricy but a little goes a long way. I do think, however, that there are other less expensive products on the market that will give you the exact same look and feel as this foundation.

Just lovely
I have (very, very) oily, acne-prone skin. This foundation is the best I have ever tried (and keep in mind that I have tried almost all of them). I dab it on with my fingers and then use the Bobbi Brown Full Coverage Face Brush. It goes on heavenly, leaving no streaks. This foundation only looks good if you use a very small amount, it is not by any means buildable. It serves to make my skin look very radiant in the most natural way. It does not cover any visible marks, so I use concealer (either of the NARS concealers works just fine) in the spots I'd like to cover. I have no dark circles, so I use it as undereye concealer as well for a brighter look. It doesn't make my skin any more oily than it usually is throughout the day. I do not like using primers, so I can't say if it works better or not with one. It fades very gracefully throughout the day (and night), and I only need minor touchups to go from the office to after-work drinks.

Pricey but obsessed with the natural and glowy finish of this. It absorbs /sits very well and works so well with concealers and other bits without looking like you have much on your skin.

I accumulated quite a few high end foundations recently and it was high time to ditch those which were a waste of space in my cupboard. There were big disappointments there : Suqqu‘s creme foundation had to go - looks pasty and sits in my pores. So did Cle de Peau‘s Radiant Crme Foundation, which was neither creamy, nor radiant ! (their TheFoundation is great though !). The winner is Chantecaille’s Future Skin Gel foundation - honestly I don’t know why I bought it… It’s an „oil free gel“ foundation - not the first choice for my mature, dry skin. It‘s called matt - while I like my foundation dewy (and matt is usually deadly for mature skin…), but this one is easy to apply (I dabbed it with a sponge), you can easily build it up and looks still totally natural. My skin feels comfortable and plump, even after 5 hours of application (without primer). And Vanilla is the perfect shade for my mid-fair skin.Thank you, Chantecaille !Â

So Skin Like
Just as expected, this has such a lovely skin like finish and sits lovely on my oily (more mature skin). It has become my everyday foundation. Whilst expensive it will last a very long time.
