In short, I would pu...
In short, I would purchase this again if I wouldn’t be afraid of the expiration date of some of the products. I bought this set because I already use the BadGal Bang mascara and for a little more money I could try new products of very known and high end brands that otherwise I wouldn’t never bought individually because are too expensive. I’m absolutely in love with the whole kit, it can be some products I was not crazy-in-love with at first sight but now I use each one of them, love everyone but the sunscreen and really can tell that none of the products is a bad one. I’ll start by the mascara, it is one of my favorite mascaras: it gives a lot of volume and definition and a false-lashes effect I really love when I’m looking for a more dramatic effect (otherwise I use Nars’s Climax which give a mink effect more natural and makeup-no makeup). The stick shadow is sooo great, I chose amethyst and it is just my style, my standard day look is a smoky look on taupe-little bit purple-not to shinny-not to strong-quite natural-quite noticeable colour and this stick allows me to do that really quickly, with a great coverage for my make-up style (it can be applied several layers but will not be full-coverage) and easy to blend, it works perfectly for 6-8 hours before start creasing on my hooded eyes (without using prebase or sealing it) and can be used as base for a powder shadow. About the sunscreen, it is an hybrid between silicone primer and sunscreen, personally I just like to use as sunscreen dermatologic sunscreen, I have pigmentation issues and I use a lot of sunscreen and feel that this is more a primer than a sunscreen and that if you really use the amount needed to have the SPF-30 then it will be too much noticeable as primer and wouldn’t really work well. As primer I donnot dislike it and feel it is a normal primer for my cheekbones where I have pigmentation marks because it smooths my pores (not as much marked as on the nose but highlighter can remark them) and also gives me an extra sunscreen protection, I donnot love it but am using it and cannot say it is a bad product. The lip gloss, first time I use it I felt a little bit disappointed and expected more since it is Charlotte Tilbury but now, weeks after that, I love using it, it has a nice coral natural colour, it shines beautifully, last on the lips, has mint and first time it smells quite strong (not to much as the Urban Decay glosses) but now it is much less noticeable, in my case, doesn’t give any extra volume but do hydrates and it is really confortable to wear, beauty AF golden-peachy shine and now I use it as much as my Fenty glosses (and if I feel my lips dry it is my first option). Now, let me talk you about the most incredible and unexpected thing on the kit: Herbivore Oil. Nothing I can say will be fair enough, it is incredible, even if it smells really badly and herbal (and it really does). On the summer my T-zone is oily but sensitive, dehydrated and clog-prone, a horrible mess, but this oil is magic, it hydrates but not in an oily clogging way…it has made my most difficult skin zone become normal! Magic!! My skin is now its best version, no matter how stereotypical it sounds, and people notice! And the packaging… the little square crystal bottle, the blue very liquid oil, the dropper…I feel like the Snow White’s stepmother and cannot love more!
