This product means business - promoting skin renewal and boosting collagen production while reducing depth of wrinkles and improving signs of damage - and with continual use, it rejuvenates cells to reveal aber vibrant, revitalised skin. Like the rest of the Drunk Elephant range, Tiffany advises that A-Passioni Retinol Cream can be applied and mixed with any other Drunk Elephant products to make your own signature 'smoothie' (and buffer the strength if your face needs to build up its tolerance). Suggested cocktails are to mix 'A-Passioni' with {C-Firma} in the daytime (always followed up with a broad-spectrum SPF to shield from sunshine!), or to combine with {Lala Retro Whipped Cream} at night if your face is reactive or you've never used a retinol before. Proceed with caution if your skin is sensitive - do a patch test to assess your cells' tolerance, then use sparingly to begin with - building up the frequency over the course of several weeks.

So far so good, hoping for even better
I have a very complicated skin. Sensitive, dehydrated, oily... I started using the Littles in October, bought the full-size products in November and, since then, only used DE products on my skin, including TLC Framboos every night (with Marula oil). I ordered the Retinol in January, even if I was a bit scared because of some reviews mentioning breakouts, peeling skin, etc. I started three weeks ago. A little A-Passioni with one pump of B-Hydra and two drops of Marula oil. the morning after, my skin was clear and I continued my regular routine, only applying my Retinol mix two times a week (Sunday night/ Wednesday night). I think it is the right way to go: slowly, and carefully. Using other DE products really helps applying the cream and I'm very happy when I see the results on my skin. I think I will carry on this way for another month (or two) and then, I will try a "three nights a week" routine. Give it a try, it is worth it :)

Caused breakout
I don’t have sensitive skin, and have used Retinol before to wonderful results. So was shocked to find the skin badly irritated after one use. Because it was red and patchy, so I left it to rest for a few days before trying again. The second time I used it, it again caused a red rash and I woke up the next day with breakouts. I haven’t had breakouts in a decade, so super annoyed. Have returned both the Retinol cream and the Drunk Elephant eye cream I ordered with it, as I would rather not risk it with the brand.

Peeling, dryness and bleeding.
I understand Retinol can be irritating but this went beyond for me. I used as instructed. After using only once a week for three weeks I started to experience very painful skin, it was sore to touch and noticeably drier. Overnight my skin peeled and even bled in some areas. If you are used to Retinol then this may work well for you but for me this was awful.

Amazing
Such a great new addition to the line. I started out using this around two times per week to ease myself into it. I mix a pea sized amount with 4-5 drops of the marula oil and that's it. My skin is noticeably more even and clear the next morning. I haven't had any reaction to it whatsoever and I have sensitive skin. I love it so much so I might try upping my usage to every two nights and then use the b-hydra, tlc and lala on the alternating nights. Love love love this.

No irritation whatsoever! :O
I've completely fallen in love with the drunk elephant line; the biggest downside is the price - all of the products are just so expensive, HOWEVER, for me it's worth paying more for two reasons: 1. the products apply nicely - they don't pill and more importantly you can mix them with other (drunk elephant) products to make your own concoctions with is great, 2. this line just hasn't irritated my skin! The glycolic acid (Framboos) blew me away - id previously tried the glycolic acid from the ordinary and for the longest time it scared me from ever using it again however I literally can't go one night without using Framboos. Onto A-Passioni - retinol that delivers results WITHOUT irritating my skin! What seriously blew me away with this product is the fact you can mix it with the Framboos and I don't wake up with my skin being red, inflamed and peeling. It's rare to try a product and see instant results but that's honestly what I got with this retinol - my skin just looks brighter and I'm hoping over time it helps clear out my pores (I'm very acne prone). In short, I'd highly recommend :)

Retinol Transformed
Imagine a 1% Retinol without irritants. This is what you're getting. Is strong yet gentle at the same time. Perfect for both day or night. I've been using this for over 3 months now and I would expect this to last at least 8 months. It's really wonderful. No irritation. No breakouts. Just more even looking skin. Win.
