This super-potent vitamin C day serum is brimming with antioxidants, essential nutrients and fruit enzymes, all of which work together to firm and brighten the appearance of skin and minimise signs of ageing.
A super-potent concoction starring a host of powerful antioxidants,Drunk Elephant’s C-Firma Day Serum stars 15% pure L-ascorbic acid (a potent form of vitamin C), 0.5% ferulic acid and 1% vitamin E - supported by a host of antioxidants and enzymes - which work to neutralise aggressors and replenish precious lipids to diminish visibility of lines and pigment patches. Also starring pumpkin ferment and pomegranate extracts, the serum enzymatically dissolves dead surface skin cells for a smoother-than-smooth texture. Finally, a sodium hyaluronate cross-polymer quickly penetrates skin and provides intense hydration. The result? A noticeably brighter, more radiant complexion, with signs of ageing and photo damage minimised. The airtight (and cute!) container also helps the formula to stay super-fresh.

Keeps fresh to the last drop
Love that the new formula has you mix the ingredients yourself, apart from feeling like a witch brewing a potion, it guarantees the product is fresh. Packaging is great and really allows you to get the last drop (I checked). As for the serum itself, love the formula which leaves a slightly sticky feel (so great under makeup). Leaves my skin glowy. Have repurchased multiple times. Didn't irritate my sensitive skin.

Ok but pricey
It's a good C serum but pricey. I had cheaper C seruma that od the same or even better job. Packaging is very appealing.

Didn't work for me
I had really high expectations for this however it caused me major irritation after a few users and I had to use prescribed creams for two weeks along with cooling masks to get my skin to calm down. It might have been my fault as I did jump right on it instead of testing it or using it too sparingly, I did find out after using other vit C products that high concentrations of Ascorbic Acid irritate my skin. However, none irritated my skin as much as this. On top of that it was also really unpleasant to use. It smells like barbecue and was so oily that I could not use it under makeup. This is my personal experience of course as the ingredients list does seem lovely and it's the only DE's product that has ever irritated me. If you are used to high concentrations of L-Ascorbic Acid as well as the usual barbecue smell that comes with many such products, you will probably love this product.

Its not a bad serum but I hate how it feels on m skin, also it piles and gives an orange tint. I love DE but this is not it.

Broke me out…
I bought it after I saw everyone hype it up, it was my first time trying a Vitamin C serum so it was quite a splurge… the first few days I really liked it, nice flow and keeps the skin very hydrated. However, after 1-2 weeks I started to get very big an painful under the skin break outs and bumps all over my face, and this was the only product that had changed in my routine. Very disappointed! But I guess it just did not work for me…

Good, but sticky.
Overall, my skin feels better, but right after using it, my skin feels sticky, therefor I only use it at night. Good that it’s cruelty free!

good, but doesn't stand out from it's peers
This is a classic L-ascorbic acid, vit E, ferric acid serum and it works equally as well as the products that it is trying to dupe, are the products that dupe this one. That is the reason I am not repurchasing it. But it definitely is a good product.

Not sure
I got the small bottle as I really wanted to try a new Vit C serum. I noticed my skin glow like never before!! On the other hand, I started noticing a lot more blackheads and a few pimples (which I never have). It does work, but I recommend getting the smaller bottle first (as the big one is not cheap) to see how your skin reacts to the product.
