The cleansing balm is good in removing makeup and sunscreen as a first step cleanser. However, I do not find this to be in some way better than other similar products on the market. I have not used the exfoliant as I have sensitive skin but I knew this before buying. It does have "earthy" smell and although I prefer scent-free products this scent is somewhat pleasant and does not irritate my nose.
