From its minimalist packaging to its origins in a Danish beauty fiend’s kitchen, Ecooking (which refers to the combination between ‘eco’ friendly and home ‘cooked’ ingredients) is a brand that epitomises chic, Scandi cool while delivering remarkable results. With potent exfoliating acids, plant extracts and vitamin E, this peeling mask is one of the brand’s hero products. It decreases the appearance of creases and wrinkles, leaving the complexion smooth, youthful and luminous.
Aqua, Lactic Acid**, Potassium Hydroxide, Squalane, Polysorbate 60, Gluconolactone**, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Sodium Dehydroacetate**, Salicylic Acid**, Glycolic Acid**, Sodium Benzoate*, Potassium Sorbate*, Citric Acid*

For the latest information, it is recommended to review the ingredient list printed on the packaging of the product prior to usage or consumption.
Use the peeling mask once a week.
Start by using the mask for 4-6 minutes depending on skin type
Extend the time slowly and end up using the mask for approximately 10-12 minutes at a time.
Cleanse the skin and add the mask in an even layer, and let the product work on the skin.
It will prickle and pinch and the skin will become red afterwards – for that reason, the best time to use the mask is before bedtime. Remains of the mask can be removed by rubbing. This does not mean that the skin is peeling.
Do not use the mask before going into the sun.

Excellent
This is bad as*! This is the only mask that really does something, that shows results. Not for wimps!

Want quick glow fix for the event or just because? Yup, this stuff....works in minutes! So, I have melasma and use a few serums from Deciem, now the blotchiness is so faint that no one can see it. But from time to time I get textured skin (41 here, no wrinkles, huge pores) and dullness can creep up because of this. After using this mask my skin is so insanely smooth, pores beautiful, whole skin glows and best part-zero tightness! I need way less serum than usual because skin is so plump and hydrated. Adore <3

Brightening
Got this as part of a Goody Bag and have since ordered a new one. It's a strong mask, that makes my face red, and sure it doesn't smell amazing but it really doesn't bother me. I use it every Sunday evening and the results are great. The pigmentation on my chin is visibly reduced (little by little) with every use. I haven't seen results like this with any other at-home product that I have tried before. If your skin isn't sensitive to acids and you struggle with acne pigmentation I would recommend giving it a try.

Not as bad as some of the reviews make it out to be
I would give this 3.5 stars, not the 4. It has a pungent smell that most people will find offensive but also tolerable - but I had to nonetheless take some marks off for the smell. For my particular skin (normal skin), I had no negative reaction to it, only slight tingling on an application which settled down, and slight redness around my nose and forehead which disappears after a while. I don't keep an eye on the time when I use the mask, but I suspect I keep it on for around 10-15 minutes. I cannot really comment on the efficacy of the product - my skin prior to using this product was good and has stayed this way throughout the use of this mask. I use it simply as a form of exfoliant to remove any dead skin and facilitate skin renewal. I do find that afterwards when I put on my face oil, there are small white balls that come off my face. They must either be dead skin or remnants of the mask come off my face that somehow were not removed when I washed my face with a facecloth. This does not occur when I apply serum or moisturiser - only with the oil. Strange, but I can so no adverse effects from this. If it's dead skin, it's good to see it physically come off. I got this in the Goodie Bag and I have so far used 3/4 of the jar. I will not be repurchasing as I normally like to move onto a different brand - that's just my consumer habit and has nothing to do with the product itself.

Yaaas
It’s not the best smell but the ingredients are all natural! It says your face will be red for about 2hous so I’m really surprised seeing the comments ‘oh my god my face was red’ anyway great product so far - only used once - my skin is combo and I’m 35 with olive tone 5 star is for me a total perfection so 4 stars for a very good product.

Meh
I got this as a freebie and was excited to try it out. It completely stripped my skin from all moisture and left my skin feeling rough and hot. It also made me bright red in the areas where I applied it. Wouldn't recommend, maybe if you have really oily skin.

Glow-tastic
I read the reviews and the instructions pointing out the unpleasant smell, a potential risk of red skin and painful prickles whilst wearing the mask. I myself have VERY VERY pale sensitive skin so I was very dubious about using this product but after feeling like I lost my sparkle a little bit over the Christmas period I decided to take some drastic peeling action and try this product out. The product does have a slightly unpleasant smell but not the worst in the world. For me, there was minimal pinching/burning whilst wearing the mask (in fact it tingled more when I had taken it off) but for over an hour after application I did turn and stay a gorgeous shade of angry red but my oh my the results were worth it all. Baby soft, even, glowing complexion and the best part was the deluge of compliments I received about my skin, so much so I embraced the makeup free trend for a whole week just to show it off! From now on I will definitely use this product once a week, as recommended and once finished I will be repurchasing this sparkle in a tub product.

Not a fan
I got this as part of the free goody bag when you spent a certain amount. I have to say I'm really not a fan. First off the smell, now I know it's natural and organic, which is great so it obviously doesn't have any fragrance added to it, but it really is an awful smelling product. The only bonus is you don't leave it on that long as I wouldn't have been able to bear the smell any longer. I really would not advise this product if you have sensitive skin, I left it on for 5 mins (says 4-7) and washed it off in the shower. My face after was bright red (but the areas were I didn't put it were fine) and my skin feels quite sore and hot. I don't have sensitive skin and I use a lot of acid based products and they never bother me like this. I'm glad I didn't actually pay the price for it and it was a freebie as I've had to put it in the bin after one use.

DO A TEST PATCH FIRST
I received this product in one of the promotional goody bags. I researched the brand online before using this. I followed the instructions exactly and put it on my face before I jumped into the shower. I rinsed it off my face while in the shower. When I got out of the shower I looked into the mirror and was horrified as my face was completely beet red on every part of my skin that was touched by this product. Not light red, not medium red, but DEEP red. I was so weirded out that I took a picture and sent it to my sister. Nowhere on the packaging does this say that this could be one of the possible reactions but they really need to update it to say this. Luckily this reaction was gone within 30 minutes but I seriously had no idea if I had burned my skin or what (It looked exactly like burned skin). The red areas were not painful to the touch whatsoever. I have had tons of lasers and peels over the years and have never had a skin reaction like this from an at home product. So if you use it, use it on a test patch first. It has a large number of acids in it and your skin may react like mine. I will use it again, but not before leaving the house.
