Terrible moisturiser
Normally I love Elemis, but this product is so awful that it’s unusable. The only good thing about it is the pretty bottle. The moisturiser itself is not at all hydrating, and actually made my skin feel more dry. The “glow†the description talks about is actually cakey looking glitter/shimmer, which looks really bad - imagine putting glittery eyeshadow all over your face. It also made me break out each time I tried it. I tried using it under makeup as well, and it was just as terrible. It made the foundation patchy because it “stuck†in some places but peeled off in others. So disappointed. Also very expensive, so was really sad I couldn’t get a refund.Â

Not hydrating and looks patchy/cakey
I love Elemis, but I’m afraid this product is a real miss for me. The main problems are that it’s not hydrating, it looks patchy/cakey on the skin and kind of peels off (no way could you put makeup on top of this). On the bright side it seemed to be gentle on the skin. I’ve used it multiple times now, and tried lots of different ways of applying it but it’s not working at all.Â
