I don’t understand the hype
I don’t get the popularity of this especially considering the high price. It’s a good cleansing balm, it takes off makeup adequately. That’s about it. Not luxurious or special. The scent is mild but smells a bit like toilet cleaner.Â

Smells divine
I’m new to using cleansing balms but they’re becoming my first cleanse ritual and I’m loving them. This one in particular smells incredible and is really soft on the skin yet takes off all harsh makeup but doesn’t feel irritating to put on.

Recommended by a YouTube influencer, I like this product as my skin is sensitive to oil cleansers which are typically used to break down makeup. This one does not cause me breakouts. No comment on the fragrance as I am unable to smell anything. Beautiful and light on the skin, no residue on the surface afterwards. Pricey but good.

A staple cleanser in my routine.
Since falling in love with double cleansing I've tried a number of balm cleansers e.g. Clinique and Then I Met You. I always find myself coming back to this.Gorgeous balm texture that melts into an oil with great consistency e.g. one that doesn't pull on the skin. It takes off mascara nicely too. Never seems to irritate my acne prone sensitive skin!

Don’t understand the rave reviews
I think this is ok, I don’t understand the rave reviews about it. It’s average at best, and doesn’t remove my mascara well. It leaves a film over my eyes even when I use it on closed eyes?? So when I open them they’re all blurry?Also I’m not keen on the smell it’s kinda like toilet cleaner. I much prefer the eve lom cleansing balm that takes all makeup off like a dream and the smell is much softer.Â

Clean
I bought this with a 20% discount offer as I was interested but found top dollar a little pricey. My skin feels beautifully clean and it does not cause breakouts which is a bonus for me. I can't comment on the fragrance as I don't have a sense of smell. Good product but I will have to wait for another offer to repurchase hence the 4 stars.

Best Cleansing balm ever
Don't buy the small version. Buy the big one. Really smooth texture, easy emulsifying into a milky texture, the smell is very clean and citrus fruity.I just love it. Already bought it several times. Definetly recommend it.

Love it
I got this in the CB advent calendar and I will never use any other balm cleanser again! Smells amazing, it's light, melts on your face like a dream, doesn't leave a residue behind and doesn't dry out my skin. I only use it when I'm removing make up. By far the best balm cleanser on the market.

Lovely balm!
I bought this as my Clinique ‘Take the day off’ was running out.This has a lovely fragrance and does the job just as well. It’s a bit softer but it’s easy to control how much you need and I love the ethos behind the brand. Not sure I’ll go back to Clinique to be honest, it’s brilliant.

Perfect if you wear lenses...
I had previously tried a number of cleansing balms, including the highly rated Clinque version. Unfortunately most of them left me with incredibly blurry contact lenses. Unfortunately my eyesight is so horrendous I'm not fortunate enough to be in a position that I can take them out before my head hits the pillow! This balm I can use to remove both face and eye make up and it leaves both skin and eyeballs clean as a whistle!
