Born out of a passion for hair care and beekeeping - the craft has been in her family for six generations and their sustainably sourced honey is at the heart of every blend - Gisou was founded by Negin Mirsalehi in 2013. Inspired by her mother's secret honey-infused hair oil recipe, the Honey Infused Hair Wash gently lathers up to cleanse hair and remove any build up of sebum or dry skin at the roots - without stripping your strands of the natural hydration that makes them so touchably soft and gorgeous.
A mane cleanser for people that hate that dry, brittle feeling so many shampoos can leave on your hair, the Honey Infused Hair Wash is gentle, effective, impressively hydrating and better than ever with an all-new formula!
Relieving your hair of sebum build up, pollution and dirt, this floral-scented formula creates a rich lather, with honey as the star of the show. A natural humectant (meaning it slurps up and holds hydration within the hair shaft), this star ingredient is packed with vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants to impart strength, help repair damage and add enviable shine. Cue: advert-worthy tresses in 3, 2, 1...

Disappointing
I was very excited to try this after hearing so much about it! Sadly it’s just not for me. Barely lathered up, I have a good amount of hair and it just couldn’t do the job. I also couldn’t really smell anything. The conditioner however worked and felt amazing!Â

Lovely gentle shampoo
Agree with “Lucifers†review entirely.  This doesn’t over lather and the fragrance is very subtle.  Did not leave my hair tangled and with the leave in hair conditioner my hair was easy to comb and when dried had a silky sheen.  Lovely range I have now bought every thing.  One significant disappointment was I found the pump top was not tightly screwed on and had cone adrift, 25% of the shampoo had leaked and dried in the box.  I have read reviews elsewhere and this seems to be a reoccurring problem with the packing of the shampoo only.

Was skeptical but pleasantly surprised
I hate it when you come across a cult product and it ends up so over-hyped and underwhelming that you question yourself if you're believing in clever marketing, etc.I put off buying this until I saw it on Cult Beauty. I have very fine hair with a sensitive scalp, Oily roots and healthy but sometimes dry ends. This shampoo is what I've been looking for all along. It has a lather but it's not stripping or over foamy. It doesn't strip your natural oils but balances what's there and it cleans thoroughly.Yes, the bottle is gorgeous and yes, it smells good but the fact it does all the above as well is incredible.I think I've found The One.

Overhyped
I’m sorry but this is absolutely the worst shampoo I have ever used. You have to use A LOT to get foamy (and I have thin hair, with thick hair I can’t even imagine), it leaves your hair frizzy, shapeless, and doesn’t clean properly. Simple drugstore shampoos do 100 times better job, soo overpriced and overhyped it’s ridiculous. Gets two starts only for the nice design and the nice smell.
