The key here really is propolis, a deeply fortifying ingredient that fuels all of Gisou’s superstar styling range. Produced and used by bees to build strong beehives, propolis contains plenty of oils, vitamins, minerals and flavonoids to protect your hair and keep it at its most healthy — all while create a shield against the drying, breakage-causing effects of heat styling.

I really wanted to love this product because I love the Gisou hair oil and hair perfume, but I feel like it weighed down my hair and made it tacky. I used it on it's own, with other heat protectants, with hair oil. I just couldn't make this work for me.

Best heat protectant I've ever tried
Considering that I have curly hair and I like it straight, I've had to try my fair share of heat protectants to make sure my locks wouldn't suffer too much from the constant use of straightening tools. This one is by far one the best I've ever tried. It feels lightweight when applied, the scent is lovely (even though not exactly the signature Gisou one), and the end result is softer hair that looks healthy and shiny!
