Absolutely love it!

I just finished my first bottle. The serum is lightweight and not sticky, as some vitamin C serums can be. I noticed my post inflammation marks not getting as pigmented and fade faster. My skin tone is quite even atm, and this is the first serum that I really noticed a difference with. I just love it! One small remark is about the pump, which gave me some difficulties near the end of use. But the serum itself is wonderful!!

Didn't notice the difference...

After use of one month, I was over this product, mainly because I did not see any results. The scent is too over powering, the formula is fine, doesn't leave my skin tacky or feeling heavy but this wasn't for me....

I was looking for a more gentle vitamin C serum and this definitely delivers! smells lovely and I’m so glad it’s in a pump!I can see this product helping my faded spot marks and speeding up the healing process. The consistency feels light and soaks in quickly, works nice under spf too.

Glides on the skin & hydrates

I’ve been waiting to try this product for months The texture is heavenly good, the product is super-hydrating, which is great, but it might be a too gentle Vitamin V serum. Works really well under SPF and the rest of the morning routine, but I cannot really tell apart the results of this serum alone, giving the fact that at night I use retinol.

does nothing

This is such a disappointing product from Glow Recipe, in my opinion. It claims to do so much yet doesn't follow through at all. It is hydrating at the least, so if you want an overpriced serum for dryness this is your bet. But don't expect it to work for acne or dark spots. The Sweet Chef (ironically, this is Glow Recipe's sister brand) ginger and vit c serum works wonders for less than half the price. Spend your money there.

Okay

I used up the entire bottle, and applied it daily in the AM for 3 months. It’s very hydrating and gentle, but I’ve seen no difference to my skin. I have very sensitive skin, and it never irritated it. It hasn’t brightened any dark spots and hasn’t helped with my overall complexion. Might be good for vitamin c beginners, but anyone who already uses vitamin c might not see any difference

The bottle is very small. It does Smell good and has a nice consistency. I haven’t seen much of a difference and I’ve been using it for a month now. Quite pricey for the size of the product so I doubt I’ll be repurchasing.

Not My Favourite

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I’ve tried a few Glor Recipe serums and this one wasn’t my most anticipated, but my least favourite. My skin generally doesn’t tolerate Vitamin C very well but the gentle claims + the added Tranexamic Acid gave me hope to try this one out. On application, it’s a slightly thinner texture than Dew Drops and spreads easy over the skin. I experienced a little irritation the first couple of days on my cheeks but this stopped soon after. It dries fast and spreads well. However, this is drying out my skin so much!! I’ve on and off tested the product to figure out what was causing the dehydration, and I’ve narrowed it down to this product. After using it for 3/4 days, the skin on my lower jaw/cheeks and nose was becoming so dry that I was flaking and shedding like a snake. As soon as I stop using this, in a couple of days that goes away. I have combination skin (oily/normal nose, dry cheeks and jaw), so this didn’t offer enough hydration for me and sadly I wouldn’t repurchase this particular serum again.

Ok

I have been using this for some time and other than leaving a nice glowy finish and hydration it didn’t do anything for my dark spots which is what the main claim is, so I had high expectations. I won’t be buying this again as I get better results with my Fitglow beauty vitamin c serum
