Best shampoo I’ve ever used
I have a very sensitive scalp and I am allergic to most shampoos. This shampoo not only leaves my head squeaky clean, my hair full and shiny but also smells like a fancy aromaterapy treatment : ) I have fine and natural hair (no dyes) and don't use conditioners, so I imagine that for coloured hair you would need to use conditioner afterwards. Will definitely buy more!

Luxurious Shampoo
I bought this because I wanted to try if it helps with my dry scalp. So far I can say it helps. Of course, my hair is very dry after using it, but it feels clean and my scalp isn't flaky. The smell is indeed "medical", not sweet, herbaceous smell. But it's a good smell. It's very pricey, but you need only a bit, so I bet this lasts a very long time.

Fabulous for flaky scalps!
I have a very problematic flaky scalp which has seen the likes of many treatments (including Oilatum) and high end products (including Kerastase and Oribe). It was getting worse. Not only that, it was getting oily. I had been using a clarifying shampoo from Bumble to sort out the oil (which it did) but it did nothing to help reduce my flakes. I figured to give this a try and I was pleasantly surprised at the result. It lathers beautifully, the smell is delicate and it leaves my hair very clean. It didn't get rid of all my flakes but there was a noticeable reduction (I've never had a completely flake free scalp). I've been using it once a week for two weeks now and the result is noticeable! I just need goop to come out with a nourishing conditioner to pair with it and I'll have my hair products sorted (nudge to Ms Paltrow). It is not an everyday shampoo so I do use another mid week as my fine hair does need a more regular wash. Highly recommend if you want a weekly deep clean, even if you have a problematic scalp like mine! It's super gentle, don't let the salt put you off.

Amazing
I have that annoying hair type oily but dandruffy. Since using this my hair has never been shinier and my scalp is less oily and more flake free. I can’t believe it. Never stop stocking this :) thank you Gwyneth.

It’s a good detox... but!
I’m a firm believer that once a week, if you’re a heavy user of hair products, dry shampoos, texturizing sprays, etc... you need a good scalp cleanse. Being guilty of all uses, I have always kept a cleansing shampoo at hand. Though I usually dread the after effect of dryness. I bought this shampoo because of all the great reviews, hoping that the after effect would not happen, but found that as good as the product is in terms of cleansing, it can get the hair to feel stripped if not massaged in gently and methodically. That said, this is by far the BEST one I have used. I guess I came to the conclusion that the stripped effect of such products is bound to happen. Now, to get the best results out of this shampoo, and avoid the dry and brittle feel of after, I use it only once a week. With a small amount (my hair is fine) starting on the top of my head, I gently message the scalp only. I try not to mix in the hair like a usual shampoo. After that, I follow by a deep conditioning mask that I leave on my hair for 10 minutes, I use the briogeo deep conditioning mask.

Cleans Exceptionally Well
This cleanses your scalp and hair exceptionally well without a long list of suspicious ingredients in the ingredients list! It'll make your hair feel squeaky clean without the parched and brittle effect that you often get with other clarifying shampoos. My scalp felt refreshed and free of grease and product buildup after use and, as with all Goop products I've had the pleasure of trying, it smells sumptuous!
