Though hard water is just freshwater infused with minerals that offer health benefits, those same minerals - like calcium, magnesium, iron, nickel and copper - can prevent the surfactants in your shampoo from lathering, and contribute to buildup. Effectively capturing those minerals that can dry your skin and give way to soap scum, as well as filtering bacteria, impurities and chlorine, this screw-on filter (don't be deterred, it's super easy to fit) effectively improves the quality of the water flowing over you so you can enjoy smoother, softer skin and hair. How does it work? The sleek tool has stainless mesh to capture sand and other sediments; calcium sulfite to remove chlorine; KDF 55 to target minerals and residual chlorine; granular activated carbon to remove bacteria, mould and odours; finally, ceramic beads help to balance your shower water's pH level. Remove the white and blue caps, then unscrew your shower hose from the tap. Attach the filter to the bottom of your shower tap. Then re-attach your shower hose. Tighten both sides to prevent leakage. Run your shower water for 1 minute and that's it.

If I could give this thing 10 stars I would!!
The limescale where I live is very bad but his little handy shower attachment made a huge difference to my skin and hair. If you have great water on your area you probably won’t see as much of a difference but I have. It took me 2 mins to screw it on. I wish I could get one for the bath but I don’t know how I could attach it. I’m using the same fabulous shampoo & conditioner but seeing a huge difference

What a difference
I love my hair and trying new shampoos but I have recently started spending a lot of time in a town with limescale and hard water. Decided to invest in this and all I can say is wow what a difference. My hair feels so soft and sleek. I haven't changed shampoo only started using this. I may even buy one for my home to see if it makes a difference there too

Would Not Recommend
I thought the reviews saying ‘it doesn’t fit our shower’ would NOT apply to me, given HelloKlean’s hefty claim that very rarely does it not fit the UK showers. Would recommend cheaper and perhaps better alternatives from other companies for more than half the price. Don’t think HelloKlean is worth the big bucks. Low on value for money and convenience.

Essential for Soft Hair
A water filter is critical for maximising hair softness, and can also help with what you may be perceiving as scalp/hair oiliness, but is actually mineral build up which the filter will prevent. Great product!

Tools required
For some this may not be relevant, however, I had to get a pipe wrench to fit my filter. Also read the instructions from the brand properly as you’ll need to ensure that your water pressure isn’t too strong (above 80 psi), and you can’t attach if your shower valve is attached to the wall or less than 35mm. Just FYI! :)

VERY happy!
For the longest time I was looking for an affordable, stylish, easy to install shower filter and then I came across a Hello Klean advert - 100% fit the bill! I live in a hard water area and I always thought about what it was doing to my hair and skin. I decided to give it a go and I’ve definitely noticed a difference in my hair - softer and such a great shine to it. My skin isn’t as dry and much softer. Just purchased a filter refill - and will keep doing so!

Favorite beauty device
This works and is an absolute must-have. I live in a country with very poor water quality. Before using this filter, my hair was in really bad shape; dry ends and greasy scalp. I had to wash my long hair every other day and it was so straining on it. I tried using clarifying shampoos etc but the relief was only temporary. Also my skin was suffering from the poor water, it was dry and itchy. In comes Hello Klean and it changed everything. My hair is now so shiny, soft and my color stays bright. My skin is no longer dry and irritated. I will always use this filter. If you live in a desert area with poor water quality like the this is an absolute must have.
