This silky formula isn't all about the shade though; it's also infused with a conditioning blend of candelilla wax and plant oils that encourage lasting hydration (and a softer, smoother pout) while giving the lipstick its impressive staying power and a subtle sheen. The hardest part will be finding your favourite with the extensive (and oh-so-collectible...) selection of hues to choose from. Last, but never least, the lipstick is housed in a sleek three-toned casing (this is Hermès, after all) which makes for a beautiful addition to any make up bag *and* is refillable too.

My favourite satin formula
I am very much into lipstick and I have tried plenty. The Hermès satin formula is my favourite one, alongside the D&G everkiss (but that's a completely different product). I am glad the Maison has been able to translate their ability with colour (nobody does colour like Hermès, imo) to their make up line. The shades may appear basic on photo, but the actual product always has peculiar hues, at least the ones I own. I bought the shade "pink lipstick" on this website, and it is a bright pink with watermelon soda hues, imo. The formula is longlasting, hydrating and leaves a beautiful stain even after eating. Just rub your lips together to adjust any patchiness created by the eating process.

Amazing, as you would expect
The lipstick is amazing. I have not expected anything less From Hermes. It is very hydrating and the color Payoff is just perfect. The packaging is very elegant and it is a little luxury item in my bag. It is on the expensive side, but it is a treat after all.
