Dust 'Soft Light' all over the face to lift and brighten. Brush 'Natural Bronze' along the temples, hollows of the cheeks, and jawline for enhanced definition or sweep all over for a sun-kissed, bronzed glow. Apply 'Pink Fusion', 'Vibrant Coral', or 'Oasis Glow to the apples of the cheeks and blend. Apply 'Rose Gold Strobe Light' to the high points of the face: the top of cheeks, bridge of nose, brow bone, and Cupid's bow.

Unbalanced
I found this colour story to be unbalanced. On one hand are the three earthy coloured shades that blend like a dream and can be used on cheeks and eyes (the bronzer is not actually cool and more of an eyecolour for me; the finishing powder is a stunning base for the eye or even a natural highlighter; the beige blush "oasis glow" is the best thing in this palette and reminds me of the chanel blush: stunning!). On the other hand are the three blush/highlight shades that are super pigmented and look clownish. The highlighter is so metallic it can't be toned done to a natural look (best for eyes) and the blushes are intense fuscia pink & mauvy pink. Which means the blushes are too bright for a light-medium skintone and the bronzer+beige colours are way too light for a deeper skintone. Plus the powders don't really sink into the skin and it never really looks natural. There are much better formulas out there and I won't buy another one of the Hourglass palettes again.

Evil Eye Palette
I tried out all of the shades today. I might be in the minority here with my review. I do like this palette, but I don’t love it. Unfortunately the blushes are nothing we haven’t seen before besides one, and that is incredibly sparkly. The highlight will not suit fair to light skin tones as you’ll see it from the front but it is lovely. The bronzer is more neutral toned than the previous few years and has some fine luminosity to it that is easy to blend with a large fluffy brush. This is a good bronzer. The finishing powder has a warm-ish yellow tone with some luminosity also, but seems to be very sheer and doesn’t change the colour of my base. Just adds a little sheen to the skin. I wouldn’t recommend for overly textured skin. The powders do emphasise mine. Each shade to a different degree. I think with a light hand light skin tones could wear this palette and use the highlight as eyeshadow but are better suited to the dragon.
