Hourglass is by far my favourite brand for blush and finishing powders. This palette looks intimidating for lighter skin but it really isn’t if used properly. I have light skin with rosy/neutral undertones and I can make this work easily with a light hand. Because the powders are so buildable they are much more mistake-proof and easy to use than any others on the market. For lighter skin the blushes can work very well (depending on what colours suit you) and the strobes are work really nicely as blush toppers or eyeshadow. I can use the both the finishing powder and the bronzer as bronzer (I like to mix them) and as eyeshadow for a transition shade. The bronzer has more of a red-ish base than the other two palettes so this one suits me better than the evil eye bonzer which looks a bit muddy. The great thing about this palette is that if you do have a lighter skin tone you can really sheer it out or wear it bold. It’s going to last forever. The Red 0 blush can be the most natural looking blush as it mimics blood flow and the other is comparable to a blonzer type shade. The other great thing is you can also mix all of the strobes and blushes to make a custom shade. Removed a star due to price point for the product and for the fact that the lid and mirror do not stand upright on any of these products.
