Great eye primer!
I have super oily and hooded lids so a primer is a must have for me. I decided to give this a try because I was running out of my NARS smudgeproof base. It's just as good, and bonus is that is in a tube. So I can squeeze it all out and there is no product waste. I would just prefere that there is a coloured version with more concealing power, that would be great.

After trying a lot of Hourglass products with mixed results, I can say this: the Veil Eye Primer is the real MVP! This little powerhouse has been a game-changer for my daily eyeshadow routine. A tiny dab locks in color all day without a hint of creasing, even on my longest days. I’ve already gone through more than eight tubes—yes, it’s that good! And each one lasts for months, so it’s worth every penny. A word to the wise, though: be careful to keep the tube tightly closed because this stuff dries out fast if it’s left open (lesson learned the hard way). But as long as you’re careful, it’s smooth, crease-free eyeshadow for days. Total Hourglass hero right here!

I wanted to try the primer for a long time, but somehow it was never available when I needed one. Like all Hourglass products, I think it's very good, even if the packaging isn't really well thought out. You really only need very little product and it's easy for a little too much to come out of the tube.
