Start your foundation routine by preparing and moisturising you skin with {Confidence in a Cream}. Then apply the CC Cream with a brush, starting from the centre of the face and blending outwards in a circular motion. Too yellow
I purchased the light colour but sadly it was much too yellow for my skin. A more neutral tone would have been better. Texture is also quite thick which makes application hard work.  Won’t re-purchase.Â

Great if you like skincare & coverage
I have enjoyed this base product for around 7/8 years now. I love that it includes SPF but had no cast. It’s labelled a CC cream but acts more like a full coverage foundation. It can feel a bit heavy, so I recommend applying it in small sections to avoid it feeling or looking heavy. It doesn’t enhance skin texture or wrinkles either. I find that it applies best with their No.7 Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection double ended brush and also with fingers. It lasts all day without breaking up and covers breakouts and acne without irritating skin or making it worse. The inclusion of Snail Extract helps with hydration. The shade range is not the best, which is why I have a 4 star instead of 5.

Needs a Better Shade Range!
I'll start by saying I like the look of this once it's been applied, it's definitely full coverage but also quite natural looking. All the skincare benefits and the SPF50 are great too. However I've been using it for a few months now, and I'm quite disappointed in it. Unfortunately the shades let it down. The Cult Beauty Match Me service recommended Fair Light so I gave that one a go. It's a bit weird, sometimes I can make it work for me, other times it's way too dark, and I can't figure out why. It's definitely oxidised since I've opened it as now it's pure orange. I don't know what the undertone is supposed to be but it's too warm for me. 12 shades is a bit lacking in 2022, especially when you can get foundations for much cheaper that cater for more skin types and undertones. I may try a smaller tube in a lighter colour in the future, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you're sure which shade you need.

Didn’t work for me
After hearing so many amazing reviews for this I decided to give it a go, although I did struggle to find a good colour match that wasn’t too orange for my skin. This looked great as soon as it was buffed in and had a nice glow but I find that throughout the day it settled into dry patches, flaked around the nose and was oily around the chin. I’ve tried primer, more moisturiser, setting spray etc but unfortunately this product just doesn’t work for me. I have normal/combination skin but this may suit those with no dryness better.

Great for every day use
I love this tinted moisturiser! I have sensitive combination skin and it doesn't lead to rashes or break outs. It's not matte, but given it has spf, that's not surprising. It's not overly oily. I'm 39 so I'm getting wrinkles and it doesn't cake (though I don't put under eye). I had 'fair light' before but this wasn't an option (discontinued?) 'fair ivory' is fine- better actually as I'm pasty from winter.
