Made from high quality beechwood, this is best before bathing to polish your limbs and encourage your lymph to eliminate toxins - driving your blood round your body and bringing it near to skin's surface, to 'feed' hungry cells and provide an immediate radiance boost. A great way to help get you glowing, the mechanical action not only boosts cellular turnover - revealing your fresh, healthy cells so your skin becomes stokeably soft - but it helps clear a path for your product (cream, lotion or potion) to penetrate quickly without any roadblocks... As the name implies, you always start on dry skin. The best time to dry brush is in the morning, just before a shower.
Start gently, twice a week and allow your skin to get used to it. As your skin adjusts, you can do it every morning if you like. It should be performed firmly once you are comfortable with it.
Start on your feet and continue towards your head. Always dry brush following your heart direction.
On your stomach and joints perform round, clockwise motions. Use long strokes on your arms and legs towards the heart. Follow with a hydrating body oil or moisturiser.
Never brush over skin that is broken (i.e. cuts, acne breakouts, sunburns, sores etc.) Don’t brush over areas of redness, inflammation or infection.
Stop dry brushing if skin becomes irritated or inflamed and do NOT use the brush on your face.

Massage brush
I‘ve given it 4stars as I find it a bit too rough and scratchy, although I understand that is probably the idea (blood circulation, toxins& dry skin cells removal) . But still would like it to be a notch softer.Â
