Making the skin care scene his stage, leading skin therapist Jordan Samuel Pacitti founded the eponymous collection in 2013: setting out to create high-performing formulas that artfully tame and perfect complexions in crisis. His former career as a professional ballet dancer made him no stranger to chronic skin irritation and this frustration inspired the Jordan Samuel Skin quest for clear and radiant skin. Poised to pirouette its way into your ritual, this chic and minimalistic collection is perfectly skin-pliac-sing. Now available in a full size (94ml) and supersize (240ml), you've got no excuse to ever be without your firm favourite again!
Lifting even the heaviest stage make up with a nourishing blend of oils, Jordan Samuel Skins The After Show Treatment Cleanser wipes your skin slate clean, leaving it primed for the rest of your routine.
Perfect for combination and dry skin types, this luxurious (and vegan!) gel-to-oil formula melts away make up and SPF while lifting any dirt and grime that threatens to clog your pores. A trio of plant-based, antioxidant-rich oils from olive and grape seed to jojoba gets to work shifting stubborn make up without stripping your skin of essential moisture. Delivering a gentle exfoliating action, sugar cane extract is a natural fruit acid that grants a gorgeously smooth complexion, while sucrose laurate acts as a gentle emulsifier to make the cleanse gloriously rich.

The useless horrific cleanser ?
I so wanted to love this as I really do love to try different products. I've given this quite some time before writing this review, to make sure I don't just discard it without giving it a proper chance. Almost five months in and not only can't I finish the product because it just not a pleasant experience and have to force myself to use it, but it just really doesn't do the simplest task it was made for which is cleansing the skin. I've been using it exactly like instructed on the package : massaging it onto dry skin and removing it with a wet washcloth. I ALWAYS have make up remains around my eyes, and I really don't even use a waterproof heavy-duty mascara. I've even tried different types of mascaras (Westman Atelier, Charlotte Tilbury, Chanel and now Lancôme) and none are properly removed. And you can forget about the whole thing if trying to remove by rinsing with water. It does the contrary effect, it feels as if the make up sticks even more to the skin so if I can see the mascara sticking to the skin, I suppose the foundation does the same... All in all, my skin never feels cleansed, and of course I double cleanse and only use it in the evening routine.

I don’t use anything else now
I really love this cleanser. I’d probably use it for the rest of my life. I used to use different cleansers based on how much makeup I was wearing and how my skin was feeling but after switching to this cleanser my skin is never stripped so that it feels dry and needs more care - it’s already such a gentle cleanser. My skin feels so much more balanced and my skin barrier feels healthy. After years of dry skin my skin is more normalised because I’m not using harsh stripping cleansers anymore. Saying that, I can take off all my makeup with this. I double cleanse just for luck but there’s never any makeup residue on the second pass. The exception is waterproof mascara - that sometimes does need a second pass depending on how much I’ve caked on there! I pretty much always use a muslin cloth to remove it with. It’s way less messy than emulsify and splash, and using a cloth helps to ensure everything is rinsed off.

My Holy Grail cleanser
This is a repeat, repeat purchase of this cleanser. Cleansing is my favourite skincare step since I found this gem. It’s a gel to oil so isn’t supposed to foam. Perfect for first or second cleanse and smells gorgeous. Leaves skin nourished and never dry or tight. Easy recommendation! (Skin type: dry with redness)
