The best

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

My 57 year old, menapausal, highlighted, dry,   frizzy and unruly hair has now reverted back to the hair I had donkeysyears ago, results were noticeable after the first use and my hair’s  now sleek, smooth, glossy, hydrated and totally manageable. I do use a couple of other products , Colour Wow Dream Coat and CHARLOTTE MENSAH hair oil,  I’m now back in love with my hair and This product, for me, is now a HG

NOT universally suitable

Wish I had checked the ingredients before purchasing. This is basically a protein leave in conditioner (ingredients state Wheat Protein). Using protein when your hair doesn't need it will cause it to be dry, brittle, dull and straw like. This is exactly what happened to mine. If your hair is protein deficient it may help you but please do a quick Google search to check if your hair needs it before spending the hefty amount on this product. You may just need a deep moisture mask.

Beautiful shiny hair

Bit suprised by some reviews here.I have long, fine, balayage hair, which was badly damaged by overly strong bleach.I bought this product beginning of July and went through the course of 6 treatments within a week (I usually wash my hair every 2-3 days but heatwave happened to coincide). I apply 3-4 pumps, starting with the ends and working my way up. I leave it for a few minutes, comb through, and let dry naturally. I now use it every 3 washes and use my regular conditioner in between (label.m, oat and honey). My hair is soft like baby hair. The shine is incredible. The frizz is gone. The hair does not tangle in between washes either, which is the first for me. I love this product and definitely repurchasing.

Nothing special

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

Apart from being excruciatingly expensive for a tiny amount, this did nothing for my hair at all. I have thick, curly hair that is prone to breakage. Its not strong enough as a conditioner alone for my hair type, and made no visible difference to breakage. I'll stick with Olaplex.

Hate to say it but…

Totally didn’t think I’d love this product but sadly I do. (Sadly, purely just down to the price!) I have long, naturally curly, frizz prone hair so I need more of this than the recommended x2 pumps. My hair didn’t feel a whole lot different once blow dried but after straightening I was blown away by how nourished my hair felt having not used conditioner. Three days in and my hair still feels AMAZING. Total convert!

Easy to use

I am a fan of olaplex but thought I would give this a try as it seemed easier to use. My hair is quite fine and it certainly was more manageable but if I use it again I will only use on the ends.

Top notch!

This stuff is brilliant. I’ve tried so many serums and intensive conditioners that work ok but not brilliantly - this really does the job it says it does. You don’t need that much of it, which is good because it is ridiculously expensive for the amount you get, but honestly my hair is so swishy and silky afterwards. I love it.

Magic

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is hands down the most impressive hair product I have ever used. If I could give it a million stars, I would. I feel like I’ve been to a super expensive salon.  The only downside is you will spend your day/night running your fingers through your hair and checking out the shine, every time you pass a mirror. It is worth every penny.

Best hair product for a busy person

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

It seems expensive for the amount at first, but if you compare it to how much u need to spend on Olaplex products, then you'll see it's worth it. Also, I save so much time on not having to rinse off the conditioner/mask in the shower, plus then other treatments/products to achieve what this one mask achieves. It s just peeeeeerfect for my busy life. To get the same effect with Olaplex I had to use no 0+no 3+no 7. Who has time and money to go through that all the time? K18 mask is awesome for a busy professional (or a mom) who wants salon quality treatment and has little time. I don't even have to use any hair oils anymore, and works well no matter what shampoo I have used.

Nothing spectacular

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I was told about this product by a friend who uses it and loves it. Not by a hairdresser or magazine review but someone I know who swears by it. It works for her slightly frizzy hair. To be honest I didn’t see any huge wow factor difference.  Hair feels softer but I was hoping for a miracle as my hair is just so frizzy.  Too many years of bleach. I’ll finish the bottle and see if it helps longer term but sadly not so impressed that I plan on re purchasing. I prefer Wonder Water in the shower for quick easy frizz free hair, or Hola Coco but that’s more of a faff.
