Coming from a long line of luxury cognac brewers, Kilian Hennessy was never a stranger to decadent, sophisticated aromas. Throughout his childhood, the syrupy, woody scent of “the angel's share” (the evaporation from cognac cellars) shadowed him, and this can be seen in his fragrances today: many of his signature scents give a nod to the sweet sugar of alcohol and the wood of cognac barrels. One of the most experienced noses in the industry, Kilian prioritises the environment (each bottle can be refilled and kept for a lifetime), elegance and timeless luxury above anything else. The 'Angels' Share' Liquor perfume is said to be Kilian's most personal creation yet, inspired by his eighth-generation inheritance of cognac-making savoir faire. Equal parts woody and sweet with a delicious hint of spice - don't be surprised if you turn heads when wearing it.

In a first-time collaboration with French perfumer Benoit Lapouza, the delicious notes of Angels Share mimic the heady fragrance that comes as a by-product to the evaporation process within cognac cellars. This cocktail stars liquor-derived essence of cognac, cognac oil and oak absolute - all wrapped around sweeter notes of cinnamon essence and tonka bean absolute - finished with a delicate trio of sandalwood, praline and vanilla. A nod to the syrupy sweetness of alcohol and the heady wood of cognac barrels, this multifaceted and androgynous fragrance will enhance and intoxicate come day or night.

I’ve had my eye on this for a while and finally decided to take the leap and it was the right choice, it kind of smells like a luxurious Bakewell tart, not too sweet and  Has the boozy scent to it. It’s lovely to mix with also, with something more on the deeper side to create a nice long lasting aroma. By itself I find it lasts 5-7 hours with it lingering on your body. Nice, on the sweet side
This is one of the few times I had to order a fragrance blindly as I don't know if any store that sells this brand where I can try it out but I had read and seen very good reviews. I find it very sweet, more sweet that I would usually like but it's eased by the whiskey tone and quite an interesting combination. Staying power is really good - Overall I like it but so far I have only worn it 2-3 times so too early to say whether this will be a staple fragrance for me.

Stunning
I’ve just received this perfume after blind buying. I had been wanting to try a Kilian perfume for a while and went for Angels share. Firstly the bottle is stunning. But the scent.. wow.. it is SEXY! This is a date night scent. It’s going to drive your partner wild. Reviews I read online compared the scent to an apple pie.. but I don’t get that. It’s almost similar to Tom Ford Lost Cherry.To smell it directly on the skin it’s very strong you really don’t need a lot but as I’ve been going about my day I just keep getting hit by this sweet yummy scent. Slightly more on the feminine side of a unisex scent in my opinion but whoever wears this male or female will be turning heads.Â

Heaven
The scent has been on my 'to buy' list since smelling it on a friend. It's pure heaven and something everyone (Male/Female) can wear. It's longevity is very prominent for 6 - 8 hours and then it becomes a soft warm hum around the wearer. I'm slightly older than the target market for Killian, but even being 58, I was stopped twice while out shopping in the supermarket with women asking me what I was wearing. It's a soft, warm and comforting smell that grows and becomes a real mix of body chemistry and scent. It's expensive and it will have to be used for special occasions....but this is the real deal and everyone will fall in love with how you smell. So it's goodbye Dua & Alexandria dupes....buy the real thing.

Took a chance on this perfume and bought it blind as the description read like something I would like. I wasnt disappointed, this perfume is gorgeous, has many layers to it and smells divine, wraps you up in this warm, sensual scent, definitely worth the money in my opinion. If you love kilian love dont be shy you'll love this

I have been looking for years to find the perfect autumn-winter fragrance that is gourmand and sweet and spicy, this is perfect mix of it, I will always want to have it in my collection, it smells so sweet and comforting that I even wear it to bed. Absolutely in love.
