Since I discovered these a few years ago, I havent use normal hair ties anymore! - They hold up well and do not break even after using everyday for several years. - My hair breaks very easily, and with these scrunches I do not break any hair when I take them out of my hair. - During the day, they stay in place really well, even for thick hair like mine. When I want a tight bun / ponytail, I use two scrunchies. - During sleeping they do fall out of my hair, but I move a lot during my sleep. For sleeping I recommend the Kitsch Pillow scrunchies instead.
