The legacy of Dr. Max Huber an aerospace physicist La Mer was born of a serendipitous breakthrough; in experiments to heal burns from a lab accident, he discovered a fermentation process that unlocked the regenerating potential of sea kelp and other pure ingredients now known and revered as the Miracle Broth complex transforming his skin for the better. The staple at the heart of the brand, the world-renowned Créme de la Mer Moisturizing Cream is a luxury that all discerning beauty aficionados strive for, with its soothing and moisturising properties that leave skin looking radiant, youthful and quite frankly mesmerising.
A must-have moisturiser that can be found in the kits of models, editors and A-listers alike, the Créme de la Mer Moisturizing Cream is the very pinnacle of luxury in skin care, and is perfect for skins on the dry side that deserve only the very best or, you might say, the créme de la créme.
Based off the pristine waters of Vancouver Island, the prestigious formula harnesses sustainable, hand-harvested kelp to feed the timeless, age-defying Miracle Broth that the brand is famous for. From a fruitful fermentation process comes the regenerating properties of sea kelp, and the Créme de la Mer Moisturizing Cream combines this with lime tea for its antioxidant-rich levels of vitamin C, as well as its ability to hydrate and rejuvenate skin. Decadently rich, the formula soothes skin and imparts intense moisture, leaving skin feeling soft, supple and oh-so smooth. Suitable for both day and night, the paraben and phthalate-free formula even diminishes dry lines for positively beaming, even skin.

Too expensive for the quality
You can only rub the cream between your palms and pat. It’s very difficult to spread. It doesn’t get fully absorbed by the skin, it’s stays like a film. I have acne prone skin and it did cause breakouts

Really nice product,
but a bit expensive. Nevertheless I wanted to try it, and it helped me, my skin was really in a bad conditions this summer. So, this and Good Genes helped me a lot,but not sure if some cheaper product also would do the same. As someone with the oily skin, I didn't want to try the Rich Cream AB I will try it in the winter months. And then Auteur. To compare all of them. Anyways, one must use it properly because it has rich texture. I know that Red algea thing will work ofc those are really great, I have tryed masks and ofc my daily foreo mask always is helpful. So, La Mer didn't failed.

It saved my skin this summer
I have oily skin, and acne, whiteheads, blackheas, and so due to harsh treatment, sunscreens, and form time to time picking, my skin looked really, really, bad. It really helped me, I use it once, sometimes twice a day. Small amount goes long way. One must see how to use properly, in order not to get too greasy. 4 stars for the pricing, it is too much.

Overpriced
Overpriced. Basically nivea and alage seaweed in a tub. Was nice under makeup as a base but there are better alternatives than this cream. I feel for the price i cant justify it and also my personal fav is the embryolisse cream its hydrating and jus a better alternative and affordable.Â

high end moisturiser
If you can afford this, it is worth investing in as this moisturiser is amazing for any skin types. I have personally found cheaper alternatives and use that one depending on my skin condition. Look out for offers to get this product to make it slightly better value. If you havent tried yet, it is worth asking to try a sample at the counter before buying into such an expensive product

La mer cream
Bought the wrong cream. Meant to get the soft cream which is perfect for my skin. This cream is hard to soften. A bit too thick also. Â Thankfully I only got a small pot.Â

Disappointing for the price
I have wanted to try this for ages so I waited until the small pot was available. I have nearly used the pot so about a month and I can’t say I have noticed any difference in my skin. I think there are plenty of other great brands on your site which are better. It’s useful to have tried it and it may work brilliantly on different skin types.  It does smell nice and it has a light texture so it’s not dreadful.Â
