It is very hydrating, they weren't kidding with this name. The SPF feels strong and stays on the skin. I have oily skin and it's too much for me during summer. I would maybe use it on a ski trip where you need spf and extra hydration protection from the cold.

Very good but maybe too moisturizing if oily
I repurchased so many bottles of this and then realized I’m shinier half way through the day compared to other sunscreens. So maybe not ideal if your skin is very oily. However, still one I like a lot - no stinginess, amazing filters.

Not hydrating enough
Having been a fan of their fluid invisible sunscreen, i got this hydrating variant hoping that will be more suitable for the colder winter days, I was left with mixed feelings about the product. Admittedly, I have extremely dry skin, and my quest for a sunscreen that doubles as a moisturizer led me to this particular product. Unfortunately, the level of hydration provided by the Anthelios Hydrating Sunscreen fell short of my expectations. I still found myself reaching for a separate moisturizer and even an oil to adequately address my skin's dryness. On a positive note, La Roche-Posay's reputation for effective sunscreens remains intact, and the Anthelios Hydrating Sunscreen does offer reliable sun protection. However, its performance under makeup left something to be desired. Unlike my positive experiences with other LRP sunscreens, this particular variant did not blend seamlessly with makeup, leaving me somewhat disappointed. It's possible that others with different skin types may find better success with this product, but for those with true dry skin, additional moisturizing steps may still be necessary.
