Color: Rose - unhappy with it overall...
I'm a medium olive skin tone and genuinely thought the rose would be a nice shade but it looks like a neon bright petal pink on my lips sadly, and my lips are not even that dark. It just does not sit well on olive skin. Fell like a 90s barbie girl. Maybe that's someone's thing... Also, the product itself felt a teensy tiny bit grainy, if that makes sense. Like melted lipstick, not balm. Tastes like melted lipstick. If you've ever melted lipstick into small pots to save the bits stuck at the bottom of the tube, you'll know what I mean... Not a fan. (It also does not moisturize like the other 101 ointments.)

Like a glossy balm
Love these! Not come across a formula like them, they're nourishing but also pretty glossy and with a hint of colour. They do transfer easily and need reapplying fairly regularly, but hey they're more of a balm than a proper gloss.

A must-have for summer
Keeps my lips soft, well moisturised and offers great protection. Definitely one of the best lip balms I have tried. Leaves a lovely finish (I love glossy lips) and the shade ’Perfect Nude’ is very flattering against my (very) pale Scandinavian skin. I gave only 4 stars because it tastes a bit like sunscreen but I can live with that because the product is otherwise so good.

Rhubarb
While Lanolips doesn’t have the nicest texture, it does do a great job at keeping lips hydrated. It also looks like a beautiful gloss on the lips. A few times now I’ve reached for my Lanolips instead of lipstick and been very happy with the colour payoff.

I love it!
I like this balm. It makes my lips look very fresh and shiny. I use this balm in summer mornings and the color lasts for 3-4 hours. I do believe that UV protection lasts as well. I like the texture and the effect of the balm so I do recommend this product!

Perfect for my dry winter lips
Gives perfect protection against freezing winter weather here in Northern Finland. Even today when it was very windy, it didn't fail. Also hydrates and soothes. If you have extremely chapped lips, maybe go for non-tinted version. Color Rose gives my lips nice natural shade. At first I was suspicious because the tube is darker in than in the picture but the color melts in the lips. And for me there was no clinging to the dry patches, only plumping hydration.

Lovely
It feels amazing on the lips, so soft and smooth. The shade "Rhubarb" gives the perfect pink/red tint to the lips, but nothing crazy. VERY natural and soft. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that it can cling on to dry lips ever so slightly.

Perfect nude is not universal
There are many brands that claim to have a perfect "universal" lip product for everyone and succeed. Lanolips isn't one of them. The formula and quality of the balm is great - however the perfect nude shade I purchased looks terrible on anyone with darker lips, which is such a shame.
