Strange sparkles
This powder won't give me a natural look, it gave me an uneven and somewhat glittery skin tone. I will use it perhaps as a subtle highlighter on my cheekbones or on collarbones. Definitely not for full face.

More of a bronzer
A bit disappointed as this is So dark, was wanting a rose glow. unsure why it’s described as a loose setting face powder. Definitely more Bronzer.Â

Tin man
I love this brands powders, so I wanted to try the light catcher . Ordered the light shade , but when I opened it looked more like bronzer that is full of glitter. It looks awful as a powder , makes all the pores and texture 100 times more visible. Full face glitter ball. Giving 2 starts as it only can be used as highlighter. ShameÂ

Great product
I wasnt sure whether to order due to mixed reviews with it being too shimmery. I am 57 so didnt want my lines emphasised.I really like this powder you only need a tiny amount to give a glow and set your makeup. It lasts all day without drying skin. Would recommend but only use small amounts. It is a big pot and will last for ages.

Beautiful long lasting soft glow
This is a great addition to the Laura Mercier setting powder family. I bought the shade Honey star and it gives a beautiful warm soft glow. I use a fluffy face brush and dust a little all over on top of either foundation on the Laura Mercier oil free tinted moisturiser. It blends everything together well, looks like a natural glow and helps make up to last all day. Gives a similar glow to the hourglass powders but is better for setting/long lasting make up in my opinion. Also love the shade to suit warmer complexions (I’m mixed race). I don’t understand the negative reviews on other sites - maybe people are putting it on a bit heavy handed? A little on a fluffy brush is enough to set and give natural glow all day - I don’t think it’s anything like a whole face highlighter at all!

Amazing Product!
I used to prefer a matte finish with my make up, however after seeing the advert for this product I just had to give it a try. The light catcher setting powder provides a beautiful glow that I never knew I needed, it’s a must have for your make up collection.Â

powder, highlighter, perfection
The previous reviewer is quite acurate, however, I have found this powder doubles up quite nicely as a highlighter for me, face, inner corner of the eye, this is stunning on the skin, illuminating without accentuating any lines or skin texture, a must.

A little goes a long way
This is a really beautiful, fine-milled powder. I would recommend using the largest fluffiest powder brush you can find if applying all over the face for a really ethereal glow, or with a smaller more precise fan or bullet cheek brush for highlighting certain areas. A little really does go a long way with this product; one tap in the lid is enough. I will still use my translucent setting powder every day but this will still be a staple in my bag for lower light settings or if I just need to give the look of my skin a luminous boost.

Pure glitter
This product has little in common with a powder. It acts more like a loose highlighter. Unfortunately, it is also little useful as this, since it consists mainly only of glitter particles. Therefore, no beautiful "glow effect" but rather a "I am a Christmas decoration effect".
