The star of this show is (you, guessed it) its namesake rose, from the Centifolia flower which is fruity and almost honey like. It's then spiced by cumin before warming into middle notes of vetiver and soft cedarwood. This perfume then deepens into a base of skin-like musk, sensual guaiac wood, rich agarwood, balsamic olibanum and ambery labdanum that give this aroma a sensual twist. This is a beautifully deep and spicy Rose based scent that lasts all day. It is not your average floral scent, it has much more depth with a hint of sweetness, but it's gorgeous. Definitely a perfume you will notice when it arrives in a room, I love it.

My favourite winter scent
The scent itself isn't a typical rose scent, its much woodier and oakier, perfect for winter and evening, but if you're looking for a light floral perfume this isn't that. Has amazing longevity, I can smell it for days after I've sprayed it, and so for me, the price is justified as you really only need one spray of this and it lasts for ages! Just such a lovely, warm fragrance, and one I've had many many compliments on!
