This is confusing
I own this lipstick in shade Polly. First of all, the picture of a colour was misleading, but I actually love the colour so much that I'm not even mad about it. Then when it comes to actually wearing it...ugh. I can't wear it when I'm out all day - even though I put a thin layer on after 3-4 hours (no food yet) it starts kind of falling off in tiny flakes and it looks awful. When I eat it also comes off in the middle (I know, all matte lipsticks do, but with this one it feels really unpleasant). And when I try to fix it by putting more in the middle it just ruins my day - my lips feel like a desert, there are cracks all over the place, and it just doesn't look good at all. I gave it 4 stars because I'm in love with the colour and it feels nice and velvety when you put the first layer on. I also know many people who don't find it as drying as I do, so I thought maybe it differs from shade to shade and from person to person. My advice is if you find a colour that you absolutely love but not sure about the formula - get it, there's a great chance you will love it, and if you won't you'll still be able to wear it when you're out only for a couple of hours like I do now.

The best matte lipsticks from many tested. The most comfortable formula. It is worth trying. The colour lasts all day even after eating. I am very pleased.

Red Velvet
Such a gorgeous shade however I wore this out once and it began crumbling on my lips within a few hours and flaked all over my face. Really disappointed as I've heard great things about these so I'm not sure if I received a faulty one.

I have so many...
I own a bunch of these that I've collected over the last little while and I think they are my favourite liquid-matte lipstick formula that I've found. On the whole they are smooth and velvety and only slightly dry on the lips, I only find that they crumble if you apply too much. They last a reasonable amount of time, especially if you blot and top with a translucent powder (as I do with all matte lipsticks) but don't really stand up to much eating. I'm a big fan and will undoubtably buy more.

There are millions of liquid lips on this site - purchase another
The first company doing matte liquid lipsticks was Lime Crime. They had first mover advantage because everyone bought this new exciting product. Unfortunately everyone figured out how to formulate mattes better without being thick or crumbly. When Jeffery Star starting bringing out all his shades and then Kat Von D followed this brand just crumpled and has not recovered.

I bought the pumpkin shade and it is absolutely amazing. It stays through the day and has really pretty colour for fall. I am in love with it. It does not dry my lips at all.

Chalky and Crumbly
I thought I'd give the Lime Crime Velvetines a try after seeing them everywhere. I bought the colour Wicked which is a beautiful deep burgundy colour. However that is where the pros end. This liquid lipstick has one of the worst formulas I have ever tried. It is chalky and crumbles off from the middle. I honestly wished I'd saved my money. Really regret this purchase.

Mixed Bag
I agree with the other reviewers, some are better than others. Some stay on like a dream, some crack and flake. I have three of my own and have concluded that the darker the colour, the better the formula is. They smell divine and look beautiful all in all.

Squash
I only have the 1 shade: squash and absolutely fall in love! Perfect for the autumn season, fits me well and love the formula too. However I am giving this a 4 star since the bottle is so small and you get a smaller amount of products for the same price range as other similar lvl liquid lipstick brands.I wish for this price the tube would be a little bit bigger or the price would be lower. I only plan to purchase from the more unique shades in the future.

Fetish (the one I have)
It crumbles, it transfers especially when you smack you lips, it is very drying and shows all the lines on your lips. It is extremely hard to wipe off and worst of all it applies streaky. Not happy at all. However it is a beautiful shade.
