Such a nice finish

This has been my go to foundation ever since I got it around 2 months ago. Firstly, as with all LYS products I love the packaging it's a nice heavy glass foundation that looks really pretty on your dressing table. Secondly the formula is stunning - it has a nice creamy consistently that blends into the skin beautifully leaving you with such natural glow. I would say this gives a medium coverage but you could definitely build this up for a full coverage without it looking too heavy. I have combination skin and find I do need to powder my t zone throughout the day - maybe something to keep in mind if you have oily skin, although I'm sure you would be fine if you have powdered and used setting spray. Overall, I'm really impressed with this foundation and would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

An Amazing Affordable Base

I saw this foundation in a few favourites videos on YouTube and was pleasantly surprised to discover it was stocked on Cult Beauty. I bought the shade LN3 and found it a really good match. I use Mont Blanc in the Nars Radiant Light Reflecting Foundation and 1 Fair in the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation. It's definitely on the more medium/full coverage side, so it's not an everyday pick for me. I find that it lasts really well and looks great in pictures. For the price, it's a must have!

Oxidises

Lovely foundation but it oxidises around two shades so is completely unwearable.

Lys serum foundation

This product is a lovely hydrating foundation for my dry skin. It doesn't settle into fine lines or look cakes. It also lasted pretty well and didn't cling to dry patches as the day went on. I also ordered the bronzer which I also enjoyed so am looking to order other products from the brand.

Not for me

I was keen to try this foundation as I thought a serum foundation would be good for my maturish, slightly dry skin. Even though I exfoliate regularly and use a good moisturiser this was simply awful on my skin. Also the shade L6 is rather orange. Complete waste of money unfortunately

Bold Claim!

So, this may be a bold claim, however, I think this may be my new favourite foundation! It applied and blended out so easily. It is definitely a medium coverage with the option to build up if you need/want to. It feels super hydrating on the skin and leaves the skin with a lovely natural glow. It wasn't disturbed or moved when applying the rest of my complexion products, even my cream stick bronzer/blush. My skin looked glowy, smooth, and absolutely flawless!!I am obsessed and would highly recommend this foundation! *FYI I have oily/combination skin

Works on Asian Skin!

This foundation is amazing and gives my Asian skin a beautiful natural glow! I'm shade TG6 and I like to mix this with my moisturiser for a barely there look. This has definitely replaced my previous BB cream and it works well under SPF too!

Dewy

I have combination skin and love a glowy look so I had to give this one a try. It has enough coverage to even things out and a natural dewy finish that doesn't look oily, agreed with my sensitive skin which is always a challenge, and the shade LG6 is a really good match! Weirdly enough, I find this foundation to look better for me directly on top of skincare as opposed to a primer, it wears really well, doesn't cake or separate but I wouldn't say that it is transfer-proof. I have found that it looks a lot better when using less product, building coverage or re-applying didn't really work for me. It layers nicely with the rest of my makeup and doesn't become patchy when applying creams and powders on top.

Very strange foundation

It is one of the weirdest foundations I have tried. The colour match (with help from Cult Beauty's Syhem, was perfect. But the quality... It is chalky and it makes my complexion look patchy. It doesn't matter whether I use a foundation brush, a sponge, or my fingers. When I use my fingers they get a very strange, chalky residue that needs a lot of soap to disappear. So, for me, this was a disaster foundation. I will give to someone who wants's to try it, but I will not use it.

Lys foundation

Got this with my blushes and this is such a good foundation, and I think a pretty low price for the quality you are getting. The bottle is so luxe, heavy glass with a pump dispenser. One pump does my whole face. I got MG2 for my light medium warm skin tone and it matches me well. The foundation lasts a long time even though it is a satiny finish. I don’t powder, as I have dry skin and this still didn’t wear off. I suggest using the Lys site to get your shade match. I tend to use Nars or Shiseido foundations. In comparison, I’d say this feels slightly heavier than my synchro skin or skin tint. I have dry skin, so I don’t mind at all. Just lovely.
