It didn't give any irritation (but my skin isn't super sensitive). It really helped with my dull skin by brightening it. I like the marriage of science and nature that the company embodies. I even like the fact they are recommending 6 drops, which is about right, and not like the other companies when they say to use 1-2 drops, which are absorbed before you got the chance to apply them.
