Launched in 1994 by French make up artist and photographer François Nars, NARS has remained at the forefront of the beauty space with its collection of trend-led, high-performance covetable cosmetics (not to mention cheeky shade names too). Initially starting with 12 lipsticks, the brand has gone on to develop the Afterglow Lip Balm (3g), a moisturising hero that cloaks your pout in a sheer tint of colour.
Blurring the lines between skin care and make up, the After Glow Lip Balm (3g) from NARS nourishes and illuminates.

Love this, yes I know its expensive- but its soft application and high pigment- means you do not need much at all. Feels like a lip balm which is nice as its not sticky- your lips just feel tintedly-moisturised.Â

Good colour but drying
The colours are super nice and it's got a night texture on initial application, but it doesn't last that long and I find it really drying on my lips - definitely not much of a lip balm. At this price, it's pretty disappointing. I won't be repurchasing.

Gorgeous colour!
I got this in Dolce Vita and I must say it's one of the most beautiful tinted lip balms I've ever tried! It's not as hydrating as normal lip balms and I didn't expect it to be, but it's my go to daily lip colour that just brings my lips to life. Has incredible staying power too! The price is expensive, but for me it was worth it.

Disappointed
It doesn't last long, you have to reapply often and I think it dries my lips a bit. The colour is nice, but I will not buy this again.
