Launched in 1994 by French make up artist and photographer François Nars, NARS has remained at the forefront of the beauty space with its collection of trend-led, high-performance covetable cosmetics (not to mention cheeky shade names too). Had high expectations of this hotel but quite disappointed, unfortunately.
It's fine but too expensive for what it is, as I find it doesn't last long on the lips and constantly reapplying.

Overrated
I bought this lip balm after seeing all the really good reviews but have to say it's really not worth it. I have big lips which are prone to getting dry and breaking so need a good quality lip balm which sadly this is not. Much more a lipstick than balm. Gone back to vaseline.

Nice colour BUT drying
Nice colour however this massively dries out my lips. I’m having to reapply it every few minutes which is not what I expected from a high end brand like NARS. It’s a shame really because the colour is really nice it’s just that it really dries out my lips and I’m having to reapply constantly which defeats the object of having a lip balm with a bit of colour to add moisture to the lips.

Lux Lips
It has a super soft tint to it; it’s barely there, it’s like bruised lips post sleep or intense kissing. It’s honestly not worth the price tag except for the luxury experience: the perk of pulling the packaging out of your handbag, the beautiful pink mirrored color of the tube, the soft soft soft non hue you can convince yourself is worth it if you’re in the mood to treat yourself. Other brands do a better job of a soft tint but NARS makes you feel sexy with this one.
