Crafted with a blend of polymers and mineral powder, this formula establishes a firm grip on pigment, ensuring hours of wear and maximising the colour intensity of your eyeshadow or eyeliner. And skin care ingredients are involved too, with deep sea extract and antioxidant-rich rice extract smoothing your lids, prepping them for eye make up and helping to keep your eyeshadow from travelling around the eye area. So, whether you're going for a light wash of a daytime neutral or an all-out seriously smoky eye, sweep this on first to ensure it stays put for as long as possible.

Great staple
I really like this eyeshadow primer. Previously I used the tinted primer from Nars. However after a while it started to accentuate the dryness on my eyes. This one does not, so I'm happy with this product.

This is probably the best eyeshadow base I have used longevity wise! It keeps my hooded lids from creasing so so well. I do usually get a little creasing no matter what, but with this is takes many many hours when usually it happens right away.

I have back-ups for my back-ups
As someone who suffers from hot and oily eyelids, nothing would stay on my eyes. No primer would work for me, causing creasing or make-up just sliding down my face. I tried this on whim after loving Nars' creamy concealer. Wow. Not only is the colour pay-off of eyeshadows amped up by this, I can finally wear normal/waterproof mascara! For those with oily/hot eyes, you'll know normal/waterproof mascara is a 5-minute joke for us. Panda eyes anyone? But this Nars base stops the oils reaching your lashes, allowing mascara to stay put! All. Day. Long. As my favourite beauty product of all time is bound to be discontinued I have bought back-ups for my back-ups.

Overall a good base for eye shadow, but not always crease proof
I've ordered this twice already, and I am happy with the results overall. It is forgiving for more dry eyelids, feels creamy yet doesn't leave you with a visible weird texture on the eyelid (as the one from UD does if you use too much). However, I do experience creasing sometimes, especially when I wear sunscreen underneath it. I do make sure there is enough time between putting on the sunscreen, the eye shadow base and the eye shadow itself, and even powder it before using eye shadow. Yet, it does crease on me sometimes, especially with warmer weather, hence the 4 stars.
